Hello Shaira! I recommend Papalia if you want a more "entertaining" style of writing and santrock if you want the direct to the point kind (less elaboration) kind of writing. Both almost have same content naman. Enjoy!

di ko rin sure actually. Pero kung babasahin mo naman kasi ung book ni papalia at santrock, they have the same content, especially doon sa mga domains/areas of development per dev stage. I think, (this is just my opinion/assessment, take it with a sack of salt), they may have used different terms to avoid copyright issues. Maybe. Just maybe. Basta ang importante basahin pa rin natin sila. I recommend papalia over santrock if you are coming from a fresh perspective and santrock if you have experience na with dev psy. ang main na pinagkaiba talaga is style of writing. Content wise, almost the same langs
