I am curious about how senior care will look in Korea when the current 20/30 year olds are senior citizens. As Anna mentioned it is up to the children to care for their parents but if all these people choose not to have children who will care for them..?

No one camps at Coachella because it's the desert and security would be impossible, as would the environmental impact. They stay at resorts and hotels nearby or just drive in for the day. Your story about your childhood and your mother's funeral was so touching. I'm sure she would be so proud of you too. ❤

When it comes to kids I think the questions should be asked to women who have grown kids who already left the house. I think that's when women can be more honest with themselves on whether it was worth it or not. Women who have young children have to face many logistic difficulties but they also receive unconditional love from children who do whatever they're asked and who put them on a pedestal no matter how good or bad the mother is. But when that baby turns into a "rebellious" (because he can actually say "no" "I don't want to that") young adults who can argue with you and challenge you on everything you do and say, can see your own flaws... then that's a different story. And when they leave home... what type of relationship if any to they have with their mothers is where you can see the truth or that mother-child relationship. That's only at this point in my opinion that mothers can have a true and full vision of what being a mother means. Mothers with babies or young children saying it's wonderful is like asking a recent graduate student starting his new job in a huge company. And of course the economic situation and involvement of the husband and help from family can also make a HUGE difference and women's own personalities.... It seems natural for some and not for others. Grandmothers have a great vision as well but we have to take into account the fact that lifestyle, economy, jobs, laws, women rights, medecine.... was really different during their time.

In my opinion, a huge part of having a child is who your partner is. How much support do you get? Are you expected to do everything alone? How active are they as parent? Most of the women I see that are miserable have horrible partners who don’t help them. Relationship issues will quickly rise to the surface after you have a kid. With that being said, my husband is incredible, always took an active role and made me feel supported. I have a very involved family that helps me too. My experience has been so special, I can’t explain the love I have for my son. I used to be on the fence about having kids and I’m so, so thankful I made the decision to do it. Is it easy? No. But I feel like what I have gained by being a mother is much more than what I have lost. It really depends what kind of life you want to live, if you are ultra independent I can see why you wouldn’t want to give up any freedom. Just my two cents.

I have an amazing friend with 3 grown kids 18, 20 and 26 y.o., who never let kids change who she was or her relationship with her spouse. Kids only added depth and love to her life. Pre and post kids, she never failed to accomplish and achieve everything she wanted from life.

This live was fantastic Anna, I loved it. It’s very interesting to get some insight into your life and to hear some of your backstory. Once again, condolences for the loss of your dear Mum - I lost my dad when I was 19 and my mum when I was 23 (I’m 26 now). It feels like you will never learn to live with it, and that the pain might destroy you, but eventually time helps you come to terms with the loss and you learn to carry on living, you even experience happiness again, but there is always the knowledge that something is missing. I think it must always be terrible to loose a parent, but to loose them when you are young, it’s unexpected, it’s a shock. Your milestones will be only for yourself. As a nurse, I understand how debilitating panic attacks can be - I’m so glad you have managed to gain some control of your anxiety and you live your life consciously, on your own terms!! You should be very proud of that, many never gain mastery over anxiety and it controls their lives - it’s awful. Thank you so much for sharing so openly with us - I look forward to your Nalva updates, and to your video with your brother (loved the previous one with him). 🙏💜💜🤗

Hi Anna, Thanks for sharing the story about your mom. I did not know about the 3 day funeral. (When my dad passed, we had a 2 hour church service.) And I agree, kids are hard to raise and expensive. ( I used to babysit my relatives and it was hard. Plus I did all the house chores bc my mom worked and could not do them.) I envy you, your aunts watch your channel and support you. And nag you to upload. That’s cute. ( I only hear from my relatives when they want something or need a place to stay. My mom was the oldest of 8 and my dad was the 3rd of 6. They had a lot of kids back in the day.)

There are pros and cons. Motherhood is a-lot of sacrifice. I used to work with a women who never had children and in her old age she had no husband no kids and our office took care of her - but it was sad. Eventually she went to a nursing home.

Love it! Glad one thing lead to another we learn more about you. Thank you for open up and we get to understand your family dynamic. I just got a bit confused at the end. Did your sis married before you went to boarding school? I heard you were talking about your sis being nag from having more kids then somehow then later on I just remember that u said you and your bro during the time your mom want to send u back to boarding school. I feel like we were all hook to your story. I def feel related to your story 😊. I have a semi heart attacking 2 yrs ago, but I didn't have any insurance so I cant check or anything plus I have others health probs. I'm doing more testing now and your exercise sharing always motivated me. I hope mayb u can do a gym vlog on what exercise move to do for what. Again, I missed your live chat and too bad that Danny ended his Nakdsoul I was wondering what happened. I were looking toward to your and him collab. You guys are so funny together

You should have attended a boarding school in Singapore as it has the best education system in the world. You might not speak British English but it has the best of both worlds. Singapore was once a British colony so the environment might still be conducive for the learning of English. You see English has become an international language and it is not only people from English speaking countries that speak English well. You will get the best of East and West in Singapore.
