Just imagine, the year is 1999. You're at just another concert "Woodstock" with all your buddies. Just cashed a bowl of stank grass from a Dr. Pepper can. Only worry is school starts back in a few months and trying to remember the directions to get back home. You can't look it up on any cellphones because noone even thought that would be a thing. You and your friends drive back after a kickass time of live music, love, and comradery. To some that was the last time yall hung out together, or even spoke to one another. Its 2021 Next thing you know, half of those friends are not living anymore, everything is ran by media and internet, Woodstock no longer exists and since the world is in a pandemic...live music is on a standstill.

I stared work as an over the road trucker in January of 2000, and at that time only about 25% of long haul drivers had cell phones, we used to laugh at those idiots who payed $200+ a month for a mobile phone, we saw no purpose in it. I had an 800 number tied to my home phone, I could call and talk to my wife for 10 cents a minute. How times have changed...now, if we leave or phone at home, we turn around and go get it.

"Lightning Crashes" lightning crashes, a new mother cries her placenta falls to the floor the angel opens her eyes the confusion sets in before the doctor can even close the door lightning crashes, an old mother dies her intentions fall to the floor the angel closes her eyes the confusion that was hers belongs now to the baby down the hall oh now feel it comin' back again like a rollin' thunder chasing the wind forces pullin' from the center of the earth again I can feel it. lightning crashes, a new mother cries this moment she's been waiting for the angel opens her eyes pale blue colored iris, presents the circle and puts the glory out to hide, hide oh now feel it comin' back again like a rollin' thunder chasing the wind forces pullin' from the center of the earth again I can feel it. I can feel it. Oh why [3x] I can feel it comin' back again like a rollin' thunder chasing the wind forces pullin' from the center of the earth again I can feel it. I can feel it comin' back again like a rollin' thunder chasing the wind forces pullin' from the center of the earth again I can feel it. Throwing Copper will always be one of the best albums to come out in the 90s. So many great memories of graduating high school, too.

O que adoro neste vídeo é que não há celulares na multidão gravando o show. Todos estão cantando juntos e se divertindo. Eu quero voltar a esse tempo.

I graduated high school in 91. This is one of many songs from the 1990s that are profound, in my opinion. Timeless classics now. I'd love to go back to the 90s. But unfortunately I can't do that. However, songs like this take me back home for a few minutes. A big thanks to bands like Live, Counting Crows, New Radicals, and Nirvana along with many other bands that shaped my teens and twenties.

I'm a very young 58 year old woman, and just like the gentleman who said he's old I have Goosebumps every time I hear that song. The video seems to suggest it's about reincarnation I think I'm not sure does anybody know? I love love love this song!

Lets not forget this wasn't a Live only concert so many other bands performed that day yet the whole crowd knew the song word for word. Different time, everone present in the moment and along for the ride.

I remember being there and waking up as zombie started playing. My childhood friends were all with me. This is one of my favorites. This was one of those events we still talk about 30+ yrs later. We was all into music like little vacuum cleaners. We miss those days
