It’s always blow my mind when I see my sisters over there (or any country) carrying boxes and items on their heads with ease. (And they do it at a steady pace!) I can barely keep my fitted hat on without it falling off. 😂👍🏿 great work dynast. Your work is priceless .

Great video and Nigerian fabrics and African attire is beautiful. I need to upgrade my wardrobe. Dynast, you need to do a vlog from the beach or go go karting/quad biking in Lagos. Also 36 other states including Abuja await you.

Soursop fruit is $8.99 usd a pound (or roughly $18.00 usd a kilo) at Dekalb Farmers Market. And it seems to sell fast. I just go to Publix and get the Chiquita brand pulp.

You guys simply blended in the environment, as if you never left the continent, as a descendant of slaves. That's why I believe that the future of Africa is in the unity of all Africans and black peoples. Had you been white skinned, you can never buy those materials at reasonable prices, never in Naija....unless of course they hear your foreign accents. But if you're with a local, like that divacious black sister with you, you're covered.😁😁✌🏿🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬👍🏿

Why are African fabrics being printed by VLISCO IN HOLLAND and not being printed and/or manufactured in Africa?
@leonardorjioffor6683
@leonardorjioffor6683 4 жыл бұрын
You are wrong there is so many companies in Nigeria that prints it there in Nigeria. If you go to the city of Kano you see so many textile companies everywhere. When growing up in Nigeria I once worked in one printing company in the late 90s and early 2000s.
@primejeggar2643

Its mostly because the infrastructure in most african countries are underdeveloped; which in turn means high cost of doing business; which then results in local textile companies finding it hard to compete with foreign companies dumping cheap goods

The original and authentic African fabrics are hand woven . There's also tie dyed fabrics. The Kano indigo dye wells are over 500 years old. the African print as we know it today is not originally ours though one can safely say it was inspired by African plant life.

@@primejeggar2643 Thank you for the information #PrimeJeggar. The fabric I have was purchased in the US but I noticed the fabric was printed in Holland "Guaranteed real Dutch Wax Block Prints. I felt conflicted about my purchase as I prefer to feed into Africa's economy as much as possible. Again, thank you for the information. Please note that I bought the fabric from a friend and she explained why the fabric was printed in Holland but as I said I prefer to purchase material from a textile company in Africa as do many other diasporans. We understand the benefit to Africa's economy and strength
