If you do good you are rewarded with good, you do bad you are rewarded with bad. So in a situation of crisis that you just gave Esu is not the Orisha that you would call upon if the explanation in this video is correct.

Wow that is the response I was looking for. I had a feeling more information would be needed regarding this. I have some Haitian friends who practice vodou and some of them have been told, even my self, in one way or another, that there is a lwa (spirit/deity) that they are to marry whether by the deity, in a dream or during possession, or even from a priest. The marriage then involved what you stated above, offering of gifts often, daily, weekly, etc. Is this the same concept of Egbe, spiritual mate? It sounds the same as your explanation. It is mind boggling that a Christian Bible include Esu. There is no Character or Deity named Esu In the Bible. It is so obvious that the intention of "These" people (Christian missionary's or fake priest would conveniently say that a Yoruba Bible translation would equal Satan with Esu. The same tactic was done to a Native American tribe in the late 70's. The Christian missionaries tried scaring The Native American Indian with going to hell. The problem was that the Native Americans don't believe in hell, there is nothing in this tribes language of hell. These missionaries actually went back and wrote a Bible in their Native language the word hell in there hang to scare them into converting to Christianity. Same strategy here.

I think you should be more focused on the fact that this translator could still communicate with our Brother rather than complain about his accent.
