We may never know the truth about what really happened that night. Certainly a horrible end to what they are painting as a friendly gathering on a snowy night in New England. I am from the Boston area and familiar with the town of Canton, Ma. My knowledge of Canton starts with skiing at Blue Hills Reservation back in the ‘60’s long before any of these “natives” were even born. Known as an upscale suburban of Boston and one I am sure had some sort of “Canton Code” amongst the natives. John O’Keefe was not a native, he was raised in the neighboring town of Braintree. With all that being said my feeling is they are all in cahoots, maybe not guilty of the murder but there is something unbelievable in all of the testimony so far. Very very shoddy police work! No crime scene established once they knew John had passed, and it was either an unfortunate accident or something more nefarious. Knowing that this could get ugly the law enforcement individuals gathered that night should have stepped up and recused themselves and divert to State Police Crime Unit, immediately, more or less what is know as “CSI”. Many many mistakes right out of the gate. I have tremendous reasonable doubt and hope the jury does too. All you need is one juror and the the jury can hang or definitely a a not guilty verdict should be the outcome. Unfortunately this whole scenario will produce no winners, John is gone, his family is left to grieve and Karen’s life will never be the same again. One last sentiment none of these family members/cops have come to court with clean hands. RIP John O’Keefe.

Parts of this trial have been so difficult to watch. I think it absolutely shameful that the defense is to blame a first responder and his family and friends after Read stated she hit him (and I do not think her statements were taken out of context). Yes, they are trying to at least create enough doubt to help Read but seems so immoral to me to accuse so many innocent to defend one guilty. Why not a hit and run defense or, considering how much closer John was to the neighbor on the left, the neighbor was tired of vehicles stopping and parking in front of his house so he had words with John and they had a fight? No wonder Brian’s wife was rolling her eyes in disgust. Her family and friends seemed to have a genuine fondness and respect for John.

So state police calls this witness Julie Albert, and she doesn't recall the vm they leave. They call again twice in one day and again she doesn't recall. so then she calls them and that she recalls, but why does she call them then, if she doesn't recall them looking for her? Why isn't the defense asking her "well then why did you call state police if not to return their call?" This is a strange trial. And this family seems super shady to me, I'm a libra, I'm really trying to work on my balance here but its leading somewhere because Witness Julie doesn't remember many many things. and I am beginning to think that these are dangerous people.. but what do I know..

Hit back of head, (brused hand n eyes) glass from the drink cut his arm(probably had a seizure n rolled on glass. There no dog with those claws n dogs have upper n lower teeth/ that sometimes looks cut n bitten.

KR alleges via interviews: 1. To seeing John go in the house / going to the front door. 2. To saying at the time “I hit him” / “Did I hit him”. Why is it then that she never mentioned point 1 above to LE at any time when they turned up at the scene, but only repeatedly spoke of her hitting him (as she admits via the interviews) and threatening to take her own life (coincidentally before the conspiracy theory had been formulated). Also, whilst she says points 1 and 2 above via the interviews, she tells them differently via each interview - proving she’s given different stories at different times, coming across as telling lies and can’t get her story straight. Ordinarily: THE TRUTH NEVER CHANGES and DOESN’T NEED A GOOD MEMORY! Interviews: 1. ABC News - ‘Accused slain cop’s girlfriend maintains innocence | Nightline’ 2. TODAY - New questions emerge surrounding ‘Taillight Murder’.

34:41 This defense lawyer sounds awfully hostile. Why does he have to have "an attitude" instead of just asking the questions? He sounds as though he is a prosecutor putting the witness on trial. 55:02 These lawyers, no matter the side, all irk the hell out of me quibbling over minutes on incidents that happened years ago when witnesses say "about such & such time" and the lawyer takes it to an extreme trying to make it sound like they are lying when in fact time is subjective when we are thinking back on how long something takes or something went on. It's just absurd.

You know what is MUCH MORE PLAUSIBLE than 15 or so people covering up a murder and involving their own family and children is? Taking an on scene confession of the actual murderer who was repeatedly screaming, "I hit him! I hit him!," is. NOBODY surveys their lawns when walking out of their doors in ice and snow - you look DOWN so you won't slip and break your butt. I, myself, have slept through emergency vehicles outside and at my neighbors many times. Why? I was tired, in a deep sleep, and had the blackout curtains drawn with the TV on. The Defense is doing their job, but REPEATEDLY drilling these people with the same insinuatory questions, well, more like "leading" questions is making Reed's guilt more and more apparent.
