I had 2 people asking about which feeders I used on this match as some anglers struggled to reach the 50m line accurately in that wind and I didn't mention them in the video. Well done well Jamie, it can be realy hard on the east bank (thats why i prefer the woods). One thing i add to my groundbait is a splash of karma meat just for that added flavour, it works for me , but what do you think?.

Been listening to Des Ship on Match Cast Blog he was asked about England Team , and he was very concerned about the future as there is no sponsor at the moment . Very worrying situation just wondered what people’s thoughts are on the subject ? 👍🏻👍🏻🎣

Hi Jamie. Great video as always However on previous videos you said you use mono rather than braid on the short lines, but on this video you used braid on all three. Have you changed your opinion? I want to fish with braid, but if honest not sure when best to use it. Thank you.

When I think there will be bream there and in numbers I prefer the mono mate but on this occasion, whilst I was using braid I also had it coupled with an 8m mono leader so that would have taken out the 'harshness' had I hooked a decent fish on it. That make sense mate?

Hahaha I can completely understand you asking that question mate! It's one of THE northern bream venues on the match calendar now but it has been fishing very hard of late. It's a shame as they still get great numbers turning up to fish the matches. You got any bream venues near you Tim mate?

Hell Yeah, I’m actually fishing the SilverFish match Nov 23rd at Castle Ashby, Northants, last the there had 60lb in the morning then moved so I could catch 12 Carp in the afternoon, I also been night fishing the River Nene where on several time I’ve have to use a second keep net, about 130lb the best so far, there’s something about the Tip ripping round though it made me sell all my Carp kit........👍

Why those 3 distances? Do people try at 5 metres and more than 50 ? Is there no such thing as margins when feeder fishing?

They never produce on that venue when it gets cold mate. In summer you can often catch at 15m when the water is warmer but as the temp drops, the fish stay out in the open water mate.

I wondered if the fish feed at a certain temperature and would it be possible if you knew that to cast a device that showed you the temperature,or even use a fish finder if allowed .

It's a bit too shallow for a finder mate I've tried it in the past but yeah I think the temp does have an impact mate. Very moody venue mate lol

Yes it's a popular place mate but with about 70% of it inaccessible to anglers and the fact that it's connected to the canal, many people believe the fish either move into the canal or just elsewhere on the reservoir. Who knows?!!
