Great section win John. Love the way you are not afraid to switch and change tactics or, set up a new, swim to keep bites coming. Forth ain't bad in tough conditions Well done mate.

Nice one, Jon. Assuming the bushes grow up again, cutting them back does prevent them getting too overloaded and risking branches blowing into the lake.

Great video again Jon, love listening to your commentary, There's quite a few Anglers believe barbel belong in a river not Stillwater,.but like you I think they're a great addition to any lake, this just shows how they thrive in a lake, Well done bud All the best 👍🎣💪

Understand your comments re Barbel in still water. I live beside Hampshire Avon and Dorset Stour so like to see them in Rivers but hey ho. Horses for courses mate. Brilliant entertainment as I have come to expect from a talented angler like yourself.

Used to catch 2.1/2 to 3 pounders trotting with the stick float from the Trent at Hoveringham and by heck did they take some landing on a 13' float rod with 1.1/2lbs Maxima Chameleon main line which I think was about 0.12mm in those days ?? Another great video Jon. Not long to wait now for the warmer weather.

Sorry, it was at Attenborough (opposite the island) not Hoveringham.

Hi Jon, I've been following you for quite some time. And with great pleasure. And know that you are very good at fishing. so maybe a stupid question. But is iberian masters not for you. For there are now great names from England. But I miss you.

I notice the wind is blowing into the corner where you're fishing. Did it push the fish into your swim?
@JonArthur2 жыл бұрын
Clearly not ha ha. The wind was horrific and generally they don’t follow early season northerly or easterly winds
@TomsDinosaurOpinion2 жыл бұрын
I was always of the understanding that Barbel are fast water river fish? Not true?
