Very good and accurate video proving that however good you are lots of luck plays a big part. They can rock up giving you a chance but a foul hooked fish can then spook them out of your swim again and chance gone and the next chap gets a couple..... Sticking to a game plan in these big matches i feel is just as likley to give you a win if you draw a reasonable peg. Chasing fish and watching other anglers is fine but when pegging is so tight it just means you are more likely to just get exactly that, part of what is there. A game plan means doing or own thing and if it works potentially you are the only one doing it.... Getting them proper fish to settle in your peg and picking them off one by one... Just my opinion. Imagine not building your peg up on moving water you wouldnt catch anything but by doing the same thing steady little and often them big fish eventually move in...... Bring back the stick float i say...

Im really glad you enjoyed the video. These setups in this video are professional outfits that would cost in the region on £5000 but for a budget setup you could get going with around £500.
