Hello John. Another great upload buddy, always enjoy watching you especially pole fishing. You said that fish were showing in the margins of the other angler at the start and without going too scientific with that slush of ice that you showed that had come down the fish in the correct depths of course would be under the banks or hugging them from the warmth of the ground. Close weights at the top too but to catch what you caught was obviously fantastic 👍

Well Jon again thanks for that. It was a horrendous day weather wise and the hail during the night did not help. So near but just that little bit off. But all things considered it was a great day for many including us watchers. Just a thought as it was to windy for the pole in the middle. Why not a waggler with the line sunk? Could that have worked or was there too much tow on the water. Again you proved that swapping around and making changes was and indeed is the order of the day. It is about thinking / working it out and making that effort. It has been a gruller of a festival up to now. May the weather improve for you all.

Hmmm my reply seems to have disappeared but I think a waggles would've dragged off course way too quickly, even over depth, but you never know...

Hi Jon, which Malman floats would you recommend for bream and carp. I fish in France, and the depth is around 6 - 7 feet. I really like your videos keep them coming! :D
