Cheers matey ... off here again in July for two weeks, don’t usually fish Pollawyn but interesting to see all the different spices in there ! Good perseverance I’d say alternating with all the methods.

Yes Ive often had the same issue trying to get in touch. My advice is dont leave messages and you dont get a response.

The accent changes depending on who I'm talking to as well. 10 minutes at Lindholme and I'm a Yorkshireman! 10 mins at Gold Valley and I'm a cockney! :-)

Hi Jon I’ve also replaced my elastic on my guru feeders and bomb but not confident I’ve used the right knots any advice. Keep doing the films excellent advice and helps me improve my fishing.

There is a couple of videos that Des Shipp and Rob Wootton have done if you search. The key is to do a single twist before doing the knot.

On this vid I was using my Horizon Pro 10ft Carp Feeder rod, 8lb Horizon mono and a 3000 Horizon reel. 12ft Horizon Pro Waggler on the float. All the best.

Can I ask why you like the double handle on the reel compared to a single 🤔 I personally find it catches on my hand when reeling in.

I just tend to prefer them. They are better balanced and don't slide backwards so easily if the anti reverse is not on, plus it's easier to locate. But I can fish with singles too quite happily.

Its nice to mix it up. Occasionally doing a voice over you can give more detail or be more constructive as you will have an overview on the whole match. Thanks for the free footage we appreciate it.

Final Cut Pro on a Mac. To start with I'd recommend iMovie. If you're on a PC then Adobe Premiere.

I had two set up on the day. I like a little 'hair net' Fine Mesh Landing Net 35x45cm for small to medium fish and a medium Carp Landing Net 50x40cm for medium to large ones.

I like White Acres but family don't as it's a bit remote from beaches so not a lot for them to do while I am fishing At least you had your own landing net handle though LOL

it was good Jon I have no problem with the voice over as maybe there is a little more detail in what you are doing. You are actually fishing and need to focus. I will join your channel when my current subscription finishes on another channel.

I like the fact that you are just as obsessive as myself about your fishing. At least I found someone else that colours all their pole floats silver so you can’t see the body of the float under the water.
