In the officer just told her she needed to soundproof her office then because there was nothing that she could do about people being near her house from the outside. Susan would be much happier if she lived in a 55+ community where no children are allowed. All of this absurdity could have been avoided if Ms. AJ wasn’t so aggressive and kept her children away from Susan’s residence. I think both Susan and AJ bear some blame for what happened.

Me thinks Ms. Lorincz would be miserable no matter where she lived. If it wasn't children playing, it would be a dog barking, or the landscapers, or the sanitation truck... IMHO.

@@RomperRuined Indeed. Some people wake up in the morning looking for reasons to be angry and unhappy. It's a weird, unhealthy hobby. Shame she didn't count her blessings instead; she'll have a much harder time with that from now on.

Knocking and banging on a door is always subjective. How much of a problem it is will always depend on what individual person you ask.
@nancymcmonarch5 ай бұрын
Yeah, but Susan overlooked a key detail. If Ms. Owens' plan had truly been to break into the house, she likely would have thrown a brick, a flowerpot, or a rollerskate through the SLIDING GLASS door, not tried to pound through the front door with her fists.

There was a case very similar to this one where a father shot through the door. The kid was 19-20. No gun! No charges! It was evident to me that something else could of been done instead of killing. This women could not mind her own business or call the police to handle the problems.

The tough talking deputy, or what ever he is, is irritating as heck. I would want a lawyer if I had to talk to him. That said, I believe she is guilty.

L&C, I notice in your description of the video and this case, you write “…Owens went to ‘speak’ with Lorincz…” I believe this is not accurate since testimony states that Ms. Owens was yelling and pounding on the door. I have not made a determination as to the defendant’s innocence or guilt yet, but I feel it’s important for you to be accurate in your description of the case.

Thanks judge for paying attention to Rosalie’s statement. This is really a sad situation all the way around. A mother is gone, a lady facing the possibility of the rest of her life locked up. Neighbors “back in the day” would have squashed this with a few choice words outside, drew a line on that lawn for the kids to play, and just left each other alone.

Let someone harrass you and your children for years and see if you get upset…all she did was confront her for HITTING and calling her kids names..could she have called the Police? Sure..but in what world should neighbors NOT be able to talk it out??? And maybe Susan should have never took the ipad and said “Go get your mom”!

Seems the type of woman to moan about everything. I feel so sorry for AJ's kids having to grow up without their mom because this woman thought it was okay to shoot through a closed door, jeez. Also she is making things up as she goes along and lying in the interviews.

She wasn’t under arrest? She admitted to shooting. Why wasn’t she? Why was she allowed to walk? I have seen people detained longer on a traffic stop. My guess is if AJ shot the gun then she wouldn’t have been allowed home to her kids never mind the cats.
