Low end arms crossed confrontational defense counsel. The best respected successful defense counsel know how to advocate effectively - they act professionally at all times and are respected by the entire legal community. This is NOT an example of that - but many do this style to show their client how hard they advocated for them - may attract some new clients but doesn't get the desired result.

Considering the obvious fact that neither of these Defendants pose any risk of fleeing, nor any danger to the community, not allowing a PR bond is serves no other purpose than to punish, and possibly collect revenue. I have really been questioning the fact that our Justice System is supposed to assume innocence, but more often than not, it seems the system operates counter to that. This is a perfect example. Additionally, Based on what was said at the Hearing, it sounds like he was initially placed on suspension with pay, however it sounded like perhaps that changed Friday? If so, that also seems like a failure of the system. He hasn't been convicted of anything and has a family to provide for, and this charge in my opinion should not impact his employment unless he is found guilty.
