I agree with Brian that there’s a whole group of people that won’t be hearing Harris’s message. We need to know how she’ll reach those people. I agree. I had to leave because of the bad behaviour. I don't always agree with Brian and at times he interrupts too much but Jen Taub just caused tension by her attitude. It was an "I'm the boss of you and I won't let you say anything I may not agree with." Maybe she isn't the natural replacement to Mary when Mary can't attend.

Early polling shows Harris gaining but Trump still holds the lead. Anecdotal evidence from one’s family is not statistical evidence. The guy has 40 years of experience. Tip: a leader does not remind people they are leader they just BE the leader 2) Arguing and talking over each other will harm the show/ppl will unsubscribe 3) Dahlia is highly skilled and can give tips on how to bring a convo back into focus without losing control of the panel 4) Please reflect in how you are treating Brian - its not cool. He is a good sport and can take (sometimes necessary) redirection but this pile on and cutting him off before you heard him complete a sentence? Disrespecting him? Something to think about eh. I love the name "Nerd Avengers". On my computer the intro theme music is 3 times louder than your speaking voice which did cause me to suddenly jump up to turn it down as to not disturb my room mates. I then had to turn it up again to hear the presentation. I am thrilled with the show. The one good thing that Trump has done is stir the news cycle pot so vigorously that many new women newscasters have come forward. The vast majority seem liberal and caring to overshadow the women of Fox News, OAN etc. Now with Kamala as the certain choice for president we all can breathe a sigh of relief. I think that the real fight will begin after she takes office.

This is intended as purely constructive criticism: Please take a skillshare course on audio engineering & possibly invest in better microphones/equipment. Your message & viewpoints are critical in this election cycle. I would hate for listeners to tune out because of the zoom call quality sound chaos & delivery. I support you as you learn-as-you-go. However, I sometimes just have to click away because the presentation is so much like a pandemic-era work meeting which could’ve been an email. I'm glad commenters have brought up the topic of Brian and other Avengers' interactions with him, because I've often wanted to comment on it, but thought maybe I shouldn't so as not to unnecessarily bring attention to unpleasantries in an otherwise largely positive, inspiring, and immensely helpful experience: this podcast/show/channel etc. I totally get what people are saying about Jen's treatment of Brian, and while I think both Jens' reactions were a bit overboard, and have noticed that even Mary, at times, has a tendency to give Brian a little "smack" on the rear that makes me raise my eyebrows in order to reel him in, I really do think it is all a cumulative reaction to, what I've noticed over the years when they're all together, a tendency of Brian's to interrupt, quite frequently, a tendency maybe to overtalk people, maybe to go on for a bit too long, maybe to not always move the conversation along with the most germane or cogent contributions to the topic at hand, and a habit he sometimes has of making these sort of blanket statement proclamations that can come across as, "what you just said it is flat out wrong, THIS is the actual answer" which are based mainly on his anecdotal observations. It is he that I find to be a bit north of rude at times with the interrupting, and as a man being on a panel of, at times, mostly women, who maybe are used to being cut off, overtalked, dismissed etc., by men, I can see how a tolerance for that sort of thing from a man, can skew to the lower end of the spectrum. I do not think Dahlia, in particular, is the biggest fan of his, just from my piecing together observations over the last couple of years, and while I think he's largely, at the end of the day, harmless and a loveable guy, with an outsized gregariousness who wants what we all want, and has offered some very important and consequential insights, particularly re: the media writ large and politics, I do sometimes wonder if he is the best fit, at least in his role as a commenter/panelist/etc on NA.

But here is the thing that everyone forgets about Trump; anyone who makes a disparaging comment against Biden or Harris, does not have to fear being run down, shot at, thrown at, cursed out, or punched in the face by a MAGA member who loves, adores and worships at the feet of Donald John Trump. Simply put, there is more of a “fear factor” by a factor of ten when reporting on and associated with this dangerous man; and this is the real, true, and deep psychological reason the mainstream press reporting on the Donald is so damn lopsided!

I’ve watched several of these episodes & am a long time informed private donor, viewer & listener to several podcasts. Suggestions for your hosts: 1) Please stop interrupting Brian & the other men. It’s annoying, even if you’re the host/moderator. 2) Be brief with your statements so everyone gets a turn to speak. 3) Allow everyone to complete their comments & statements in full….for your audience. 4) Don’t show up if you are distracted & can’t mute your keyboard clicks, dogs & cell phones. We see where your eyeballs are going. 5) I appreciate each of you and everyone who is committed to showing up but when above distractions happen my precious attention goes elsewhere. Consider having some kind of protocol for the run of show given that there are so many panelists jumping off & on. Your viewers can pickup on tensions & distractions. I'm ten minutes into today's podcast. I haven't heard Dean or Brian speak yet. But from the comments, Brian will be cut off and not given his due respect or mutual time. So I'm out of here. Everybody, your views are all valid. Please be adults enough to let everybody speak their opinions. Isn't that what your group is about? Brian, keep on keeping on!

One would think if the appeal wins against Cannon's ruling and the verdict stands, sentencing DESERVES warp drive expediting... Extraordinary circumstances for a subpar but well-timed dismissal call for extraordinary expedited rescheduling. Dammit what are they waiting for... synching a palm pilot or something?!

I’m sorry but Brian getting attacked and muted for voicing very legitimate concerns regarding independents and republicans was unnecessary. There’s are blaring issues, the top two are the BORDER and ECONOMY. And Kamala needs to put a plan to secure the border before anything else. This excitement is good but it’s not gonna last.

To my ears, he wasn’t rude. He was taking a role for the purpose of an informed conversational debate, which is not an argument. What is the purpose of this forum? I thought I knew when I clicked. Now I’m not so sure.

Lots of people have signed up to knick doors, phone bank, many new voter registrations, etc. It is not petty to question and discuss the validity of the shot to the ear.

FBI director Wray said it’s unknown if it was a bullet or metal shards/shrapnel. some of the secret service agents were hit by shrapnel.
