Everyone needs to raise the suggestion across all social media, state government, and federal government that all family or individual households should restrict themselves to only letting one person enter the public. It only takes one person to gather essential goods. It also only takes one person to work an essential job while the remaining adults receive aid. If more than one person enters the public from a given household, then the probability that the virus spreads to their household or someone else is higher compared to just one person. Therefore everyone should spread the word!!!

There are plenty of well-respected peer reviewed studies that show that masks are ineffective against viruses like this because the aerosols are so small they go right through the masks. I think a way to solve the indoor dining situation might be to give owners a choice to get a HEPA filter for their air conditioning or to possibly convert their restaurant to be open air, ie, opening up all windows and using fans to ventilate instead. Perhaps that will help owners who have problems changing their air conditioning system cos I'd imagine many of them are already struggling. They could also explore setting up dividers to shield groups from each other and where each space is disinfected after groups of customers leave and before new customers are allowed in

WAS the worst...and is now by far and away the BEST in the nation. Wait 6 months and TX, AZ, FL, GA, etc. will all have more cases and deaths per capita than NY. Easy for you dumb idiots to sit in Alabama and Wyoming to say "Look we don't have many cases!" Yeah..you don't have the population of NY, and you don't have an international airport. Just wait...you'll get there. Watch the curve, per capita there's a ton of states that are going to bypass NY for infection and death rate, because those states are still spreading the virus and curve is rising and NY has slowed the spread and curve is going down.

Mr. Cuomo, dude, the compliance of mask wearing is at best 50%. I see LOTS of people fake-wearing masks, not having masks at all, and at my job I'm the only one who doesn't take it off except for drinking or eating away from everyone. Gov. Cuomo is right about 95% of New Yorkers complying with the mandate to wear masks, at least in my neighborhood. I am terrified of and furious with the 5% who aren't. And they are the same 5% who do not socially distance.
