I know that you are a fan of the spiral pattern however Mr. Garrett (the inventor of the Double-D coil you like to swing around) says small overlapping rectangular patterns are most effective for that coil. Nice video.

I think that the best way is to swing the coil slowly in an S-shaped pattern and do the spiral after you have found some interesting targets….

Hey Merrell save your pinpointer buy coating about an inch up from the tip in super glue and then dip it in baking soda... It forms a hard shell that's pretty tough and when it wears out you can do it again.

I like your suggestion.. i like to protect my pinpointer tip by wrapping a couple layers of electrical tape around it and when the tape wears off just give it another wrap. :)

I've missed two of your live streams and realized I hadn't been getting notified of your new posts. Then I checked and my notifications were turned off, and I had set them to all when I subscribed to your Channel. So I got to looking and I had to unsubscribe and resubscribe to get the notifications to work. Then I remembered I had to do the same thing with gigmasters Channel. when I tried to turn on the notifications while I was originally subscribed, it kept telling me that notifications weren't available for Content not made for children. Got to love KZbin... Anyway I'm back to all notifications now so maybe I'll be able to catch the live streams when they happen.

I do not understand… metal detected with a minelab sovereign for years .. no numbers .. just sound .. and I could distinguish a copper penny, from a zinc penny to a nickel, to a clad dime or quarter, to a silver dime or quarter. Only gold was impossible to distinguish between lets say a pull tab. Not a big fan of all these numbers and crazy sounds.
