I worked at a PD for years and District Attorney also. You are fighting a losing battle in that place. Get rid of the landlady and I don't mean "GET RID" of her. Move only the high dollar stuff to new place, then sell other stuff and donate as much as possible out of this warehouse. Start anew with high grade merch. I like the idea of a storage unit lot of your own with a store front. Easier to sort items to separate units. Then have unit sales auctions. Just suggestions.

I live in a building with 4 apartments my neighbor bought a 60 inch TV and threw the box out front in the trash.... Two days later his TV got stolen??? The Cops where called and started a investigation within a week the cops caught the theif... It turned out that thief was living in the same building as us... When the Cops arrested him he was playing Fort night on the Tv... Must be thief needed to up grade his gaming system??? I'm telling you this because people need to be careful what they put in the trash and how to dispose of it properly....

@what the hales. Maybe you need to try to do what my neighbor's son two houses down did. They were stealing tools out of his mother's garage his and his late father's tools. So he parked his car at my house and spent the next few nights in the garage. Local kid broke in and neighbors son placed the business end of a shotgun in the kids mouth. Got most of the tools back and nothing else has been broken into or stolen.

Check with power company, see if the power was turned off at the box, no lights came on so could be that they turned off power and then went in, or they knew where the sensor is..

I'm glad the damage wasn't severe but I know how unsettling that is. My son's car was stolen, luckily it was parked here because the water pump was out and it was being towed the next day, so when it over heated they dumped it. So infuriating! See you on the next one! 🥰😘❤
