BADBADNOTGOOD is composed of musicians Matthew Tavares, Chester Hansen and Alex Sowinski, who first met in Humber College's Music Performance program. Since then, the group has released a series of critically acclaimed independent releases, and have performed at Coachella, the famed music and arts festival in California.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

the first part is an improvisation over ganon's theme, from the second minute onwards they play "tal tal heights", which is a variation of the zelda theme found in "link's awakening"

BBNG playing as a quintet! I thought that was great, but I wish the guitar was a little more prominent. Leland is getting better at the sax too. He didn't really impress me on BBNG2 but his performance here is decent.

at around 9 minutes, the video in the background - does anyone know what that's from? I know it's from a electronica song, but I can't remember what. It might be the same label as Battles. totally bugging me that I can't remember.

I think it has something to do with his foot stance
@bernardw4842
@bernardw4842 Жыл бұрын
A lot of jazz guitarists look that way when they play. Not a player myself but I see a lot of gigs and IMO it's to do with the huge finger stretches they have to do for some of those jazz chords, they have to hold their left arm out differently and it tends to change their foot stance

Their talented but when they released their first album, they had a description like " all of this was made by people under the age of 19" and that attitude just hasn't sat with me well
@soulpeacesam
@soulpeacesam 9 жыл бұрын
Noah Stewart so the fact that they gave you their age and took pride in it , you didnt like that ? thats cool as fuck tbh . i can see why youd THINK its arrogant , but its not . they took pride in being young musicians going hard for toronto , about to tour the world playing amazing music, bringing people together
