I am home from work, as a teacher, with strep throat so I got to watch earlier than normal. Thank you for another fabulous Friday.

I’m really late to this QAL so I’ve already put the papers in my basket and I’m thunking about adding the 6” square pack, too (I love foundation paper piecing!). Probably my biggest challenge is to find layer cakes (or even FQ bundles) of fabric that I really like. Yes, I do have plenty here at home, but it’s the fun of trying to find something new👍👍😁😁😁

Thank you Kimberly and FQS for this QAL. I really enjoy putting together these smaller quilts. I work long hours and find it challenging to finish a large quilt. I really enjoy paper piecing and love how this quilt came out. I hope to find more projects from you in the future. I'm also excited about Lori Holts new book. I'm a big fan of her work and am currently working on her Quilt seed flowers to make a bed runner.

Hi Kimberly, Before your special edition silver machine, you used to have a regular white Juki machine. Why don't you use that one. Also, you are not going to have your machine back from the mechanic, probably in several weeks, so you need to find a solution. You can always use your Baby Lock machine, take the one from the store to your house, or buy a second machine for your house. I hope this helps 😊
@sandybruce90927 ай бұрын
This is why I have more than one machine!! Actually I have about 19 machines, but more than half are vintage Singers from 1926 to about 1960! (I’m feeling so embarrassed!!!😳😳)

The reason it is showing different is that the pattern is reversed when you sew it together. It is the inverse (opposite) of the print on top.

I wish the Designer Mystery Box was thicker like it used to be.... then I have room for my 12 blocks and some fabrics. The thinner boxes pop open when a lot of the blocks are in....

Should we remove the sticky off quilt labels always? Or is it ok to iron them to a piece of fabric and then stitch it in?
@FatQuarterShopTX8 ай бұрын
We recommend it but it is not required.

Kimberly, you didn’t do anything wrong. The images on the paper are reversed from the actual block. You did it right.

Anybody else not exactly happy about the box forthe Mystery Quilt 24 being slimmer? I really LOVED the width of the 21 and 22 boxes. They gave enough room it fit all the blocks and fabric and instructions and a little more... Cause Kimberly gives so much extra fabric I was able to make 2 each month. I'm afraid the stuff that I want to keep together for the Mystery Block of the Month WON'T fit and I'll have to use something else and have it 2 places...... See what I'm getting at?

@FatQuarterShopTX7 ай бұрын
Hello Brandy! The fabric in the middle is right side up and the rest of the fabric you need to put right sides together so that when you press your block all sides will face the same way.
