For the Fox 5 Atlanta anchorman who looked up what a cassion is. It is not just a "horse drawn wagon". A cassion is a specific piece of military equipment. It is a gun carriage. It doesn't have high sides like a wagon. The ease and speed of unloading in a combat area was important. It has about a 1 1/2 inch lip all the way around it. Canons, rifles, and ammunition were carried on them. Nowadays, they carry heavy ammunition pulled behind trucks.
