Shippers aren't doing anything wrong... a lot of them are still paying us our regular dedicated rates we've always had so we're doing just fine. The smart ones made strategic decisions where we're sitting pretty while everyone else is complaining about the load board. If you're relying on the board then you did it to yourself. It's ALL about relationships and how you position yourself. If you aim to gouge every chance you can then be prepared for these situations

Just my opinion but when the market is bad and the rates are cheap, we always complain about shippers or brokers but we carriers (or at least some of us) are the ones who accept cheap rates so its our fault

I have another question. My wife is the owner of the truck company as plan, so how can she buy insurance without a CDL, I will be tge driver , so do I use my CDL for information when we buy insurance that's registered under the company name?
