I’m used to check on your live streams and go back while streaming and watch everything from the beginning of the stream, but this time it didn’t let me go back or skip parts and the video was taking me to where the stream time is. I watched the lady taking the shahadah , then the guy with cat ears toy , then I went pray asr and came back but couldn’t go back anywhere where I left .

Should we maintain ties of kinship even with non Muslim relatives? I am a new muslim Alhamdulillah but my wife and inlaws are insisting me to go away from my parents and relatives. Is it correct?

No never. This is haram in fact and you wife and in laws shouldn't do that. You must be nice to your parents talk to them,reach out to them and ask how are they doing and the same way u were doing before and obey them but if they tell you to disobey Allah that's when you don't obey them. Same for the relatives ,tho they're not in the same level as parents.

​​@@oromtitiwbo5078i don't think even with abuse you cut them off. You may decrease the amount of time you spend with them but not to cut them off and stop talking to them. In fact,even with muslims who are not your relatives you can't not talk to them more than 3days. And Allah knows best

4:82 أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ ۚ وَلَوْ كَانَ مِنْ عِندِ غَيْرِ ٱللَّهِ لَوَجَدُوا۟ فِيهِ ٱخْتِلَـٰفًۭا كَثِيرًۭا Do they not then reflect on the Quran? Had it been from anyone other than Allah, they would have certainly found in it many inconsistencies. And as for the ahadith, the great scholars from the time of our Prophet ﷺ have taken a tremendous effort to weed out the inauthentic ones from the authentic ones, and every one of them are well-documented.

If some Sahaba twisted the Qur'an, then we would have other sahaba who would have spoken out against this. We however don't see any disagreement hence proving the sahabas didn't change anything from the Qur'an.

The same reason why Hadiths have been preserved :- mass memorization and mass propagation of scripture. First of all, They proved their loyalty by fighting alongside the Prophet against the Quraysh and then superpowers like Persians and Romans. We have non muslim accounts of Caliph Omar's simplistic lifestyle, which is an example of how early muslims followed Islam to the T. Now that we have established there were thousands and thousands of pious, loyal and reliable muslims we don't need to worry about scripture being possibly altered. Because even if a nefarious individual here or there tried to change the scripture, numerous others would prevent him from succeeding.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Trim the mustache and leave the beard to grow." حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلاَّلُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ أَحْفُوا الشَّوَارِبَ وَأَعْفُوا اللِّحَى ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏ Grade: Sahih (Darussalam) Reference : Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2763 In-book reference : Book 43, Hadith 33 English translation : Vol. 5, Book 41, Hadith 2763 Trim closely the moustache, and let the beard flow (Grow).” [Narrated Ibn Umar (R.A), Sahih Muslim, Hadith no. 498] “Trim closely the moustache and grow the beard.” [Reported by Abu Hurairah (R.A.) in Muslim, Hadith no. 501] “Be different from the ‘mushrikin’; trim your moustaches and save your beards.” [Reported by Ibn Umar in Al-Bukhari and Muslim] “Cut your moustaches and leave your beards alone. Be different from the people of the scripture.” [Reported by Abu Umamah in Muslim] Shaykh ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said: “Because of the authentic hadiths, it is prohibited to shave the beard, and no one has ever permitted it.” The commands of the Prophet (ﷺ) clearly indicate that the beard should be completely spared. Furthermore, the Prophet and his companions had full and large beards. There are no authentic reports indicating that the Prophet trimmed his beard. However, there are authentic reports from a number of the sahabah - particularly, Ibn-Umar, Abu Hurayrah, and Ibn-Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them all), indicating that they used to cut what extended beyond a fist-length. Plus it is believed to be effeminate for men to shave there beards as it is a sign of manhood. So it obligatory for Muslim men to keep their beards if they can even if it is patchy as they will be rewarded for following the sunnah( prophetic teachings) of the prophet pbuh. Those who can’t grow beards as in they have no visible signs of hair at the area of where beard is supposed to be, they are not held responsible. Unfortunately there are Muslim men who can grow beards but shave them which not good as they are not listening to the commands of the prophet pbuh. May Allah make it easy for is to obey Allah and his messenger pbuh. I hope this helped.

because the quran is mutawatir so it is impossible for every single person to agree to distort it at the same time like a hivemind and that is not the type of people the sahabah were. they wouldn't be called sahabah if so

Sahaba were not the only ones who memorized Quran, if anyone try to twist it would not work. And Pls think best of others esp Sahaba

the Sahaba where approx.100,000 when the prophet ﷺ died. the Quran was not exclusive to specific people, many of them memorised at the time of the prophet ﷺ and taught others as well. The Quran was constantly recited in prayer for all the other muslims to hear. Also we know what the community as a whole thought about them and their characters, so we can see how honest and sincere they were.

Sahabas already memorized Quraan before it was standardized... Its no way possible to twist it. We hv mutawatir chains still going back to the time of Prophet SAW.. We dont rely on Mushhaf anyway.. So its no way possible to change it... Plus Uthman RA was among the most trusted and beloved companions of Prophet SAW... He isnt a random person
