It is 8 races into the season and they still can't get the graphics to show the proper driver in the cars.

By my understanding it could be at least to some extent not their fault. Afaik the cars have a switch that the drivers are supposed to flick to indicate which driver is in. And that thing sends that info to the timing systems and probably through there it gets to the graphics. So if a driver forgets to flick the switch the timing and graphics show the wrong driver by this logic. Plus the system may just malfunction too. I could be mistaken though.

@@theflagstand I don’t know what system they use but in other series such as WEC the drivers have a sensor I believe that is in their helmet that triggers whenever they are in the seat it automatically updates so you can see the driver change immediately on the screen. SRO May be using a less advanced system but I am surprised if so many teams are “forgetting to hit the switch “ that they have allowed it to go on so long without some type of action.
