Miss Philippines is a scientist which explains well why she is so fluent and spontaneous in answering the final question. As a matter of fact, she is simply intelligent and can answer just almost anything under the sun you throw at her with so much wisdom. Miss Philippines Yllana even spoke alongside with the world leaders in the most recent United Nation conference about climate change. Only Philippines gave the complete answer to the Miss Earth 2023 final question. I can't wait to see how Yllan evolves further into a much improved queen as I have faith she will most likely join other big 4 pageants in the next 2 years or so and shake the world/ universe with a blast! 💯

I agree. That’s the story for most of the Philippines candidates this year. They’re so smart that they sound scripted, but really they can answer any questions thrown at them…I guess the judges aren’t looking for the best q&a, but just someone who can speak in simple terms and who appears the most natural…not saying our candidates aren’t because they are. They’re just too smart that they seem rehearsed.

So sad for Philippines this year. I feel like they sent out their most intelligent batch of women yet, but they just could not win their respective pageants. Biggest disappointment was of course Miss Universe. Thought we could recover with Miss Earth, but Albania is still beautiful and deserving.

To be honest, I’d say authenticity.That means when she is thrown into a media tour, or sent for an advocacy work, she will know how to handle her self. It is very easy to memorize lines but it’s is very difficult to very likable by being just your true authentic self. I think that speaks confidence.

There quite a lot things that desperately need improvements with ME. The stage looked good but the camera angles are quite off, the hosts are so slow! Did not like the q and a right after a candidate was called for the top 8 that was just so anti climactic! And the swimsuit round as well! ME org has to provide non english speakers with translators!!! I personally did not like the same color scheme for the evening gowns that was just so anti creative! The crowning was also a mess, the girls already went on to hug the winner when she was not even crowned yet! Lol! On the other hand, i believe Philippines answered her 2 questions on point. Especially on the top4 portion. Yes she sounded rehearsed but that is just how she talks even if on her casual talks. She is just that so intelligent. But well Albania was chosen.
