I listened to the entire trial, and unless I missed it not one expert spoke about the blood that ran down the entirety of John’s clothes. He would have had to been erect for at least a small period of time for that blood to drip down before he landed/was placed in the yard. And to add: John supposedly gets hit by a 7000lb vehicle at 24MPH and not one bruise? I run into my bedpost at 0.05MPH and get a golf ball size bruise.

The 2 things that really made me think Karen Read is innocent - 1. The video showing her pulling away from John’s house at around 5am and the right tail light being 90% red verses the pictures of the car by the time the police got ahold of it later where the “red” was completely gone. 2. The very first search of the yard near John’s body around 6:30am and they found ZERO pieces of tail light, before the blizzard really started to hit. Even a “casual” search that morning should have turned up at least one or two pieces of that tail light.

A case like this where there's so many avenues of reasonable doubt is incredibly rare, most prosecutors wouldn't have brought this case to trial. Jackson did a good job, but he was incredibly fortunate to have very good facts in his client's favor. It's easy to argue great facts, and Lally showed us how embarrassing it can be when your side has bad facts. I'm sure Lally has delivered masterful closing arguments in cases where the defendants were actually guilty. The biggest thing that Jackson has on his side is that his client is innocent.

It's always bothered me, and I've written in other lawyers' chats about this, that they use her leaving as a sign of a guilty conscience. When my mother died, my uncle didnt look at me for an entire year until he was drinking at a family party because I look like and remind him of my mother. People grieve in different ways.

Yup! I always thought she felt terrible. Was also probably medicated and wanted to be in her own safe space. I’m sure her parents wanted her home too. And she was also still coming down from drinking heavily. I’m sure she was racking her brain trying to just remember the series of events. I’ve had a bad drunk night w a loved one and neither of us acted sanely and had to piece together over days what actually had occurred. Her confusion of leaving him at Waterfall makes sense after she wakes up and sees he’s not there. Her last big memory was Waterfall. Her screaming irrationally on the VM, well, that reminds me of the bad night I referred to earlier. If anyone had read the texts between myself and partner, they would’ve had all kinds of crazy thoughts about the state of our relationship. When in actuality it was all alcohol talking.

Not gonna lie, Jackson's closing, imo was beautifully done. The part about they built a blue wall that no one could scale. That gave me goose bumps. Brilliant. Making the jurors see how it would feel to try to scale that wall if it were them instead of KR. I was literally picturing it. Extremely effective, I thought. P.s. Lally lost me in the very first sentence of his closing. The very first sentence was factually inaccurate. Not a good look when it's already the theme of your case.

And then instead of calling am ambulance the guests dragged what was left onto their own front lawn hoping he might die. Do you trust people who one after the other destroyed/memory wiped their phones, claim like 20 answered butt dials in one night, and consistently contradicted one another more than the tracking data of a smartwatch? 2. The paramedics did not all agree. At least one said that they did not hear Karen Read say "I hit him!" but instead ask the question "did I?" Another didn't hear it at all. The paramedics and firefighters did not at all implicate Karen Read. 3. The car theory does not match the laws of physics. 4. We aren't saying what exactly happened to John O'Keefe (this is not the trial of anyone in the house), but that the Commonwealth's theory is wildly more implausible than "O'Keefe went into the house, some kind of altercation (planned or accidental) occurred, John O'Keefe was left on the front lawn."

He didn't hit his that fast as blood saturating his clothing. Meaning he had to be upright and bleeding for minutes before falling back and becoming unconscious. Or, was he put outside ( like a dog!) perhaps as one Albert or the Alberts were too drunk to take appropriate action? It seems more likely that indifferent and menacing tough boy Colin may have sicked the dog on John O' Keefe, unconscious in the basement, left him there for a while as guests left so no one saw the bloody body in the snow. No ambulance called. Maybe unconscious John O' Keefe came to and then fell at the curb. I believe the story to blame Karen Read was hatched when she came back to find her boyfriend and was rightfully hysterical when she saw him dead on that lawn. What is definitely not an accident is Brian Albert leading his clannic group in framing Karen Read and perverting justice. Also, as many of these people worked on homicides, why didn' t they hide John or his body or remove it from their house' s vicinity? This is why I believe Brian Albert was covering for his son. Does anyone know how long Mr O' Keefe was outside? How frozen was he? Horrible judge. Let us hope the jury finds her not guilty.

Dragging him, They lost a white shoe that was blending in with the snow. They didn't want to put him in any vehicle with so much blood and DNA getting everywhere. Risking the vehicles being caught on camera and the dump. They stayed in their safe zone where they can control everything. The real medical experts say there's no way John was conscious at any point after the head wound. He couldn't have walked out there on his own. I firmly believe he was dragged out AFTER most people left the house. They waited for most who weren't involved to leave before they placed the body there. That's why nobody saw that body for so long. The few who didn't know left before the body was there. The rest that were involved in placing John there. Which is why there's a lack of blood where they found him. They pulled the truck up to the in order to prevent anyone from seeing them carry him and place him there. As for time I believe he was put there right before MCABE MADE THAT GOOGLE SEARCH on how long it takes for a body to die in the cold. Than, When The plow driver was plowing and never saw John. So I think it had to placed there before the Google search and after the plow made his first round on Fairview. I think they planned to blame the plow but Karen showed up instead. The dog was never outside, she was in the house admittedly being watched by the Alberts son. Plus the wounds show John was upright when that attack happened. No way he was laying down while the dog attack happened. John also was trying to protect himself and his arms had to be upward. I think it's as simple as a fight and the dog jumped in. The dog already didn't like strangers and already bit multiple people. This dog would especially jump in during a fight. Than They Wait until everyone leaves, put him outside, ignore the situation than butt dial the world. I think it was Colin and Higgins fighting John with Brian Albert egging it all on. Higgins stayed at the precinct for info all night and had a lawyer by 8am! Can't tell my he didn't play a major role.

Putting John outside their house is the smartest idea for “them”. Why didn’t they find tail light pieces it was snowing, how do you know she didn’t crack tail light in John’s car because you don’t see taillight on snow. Why did it take so long to get to get to sallyport cause the snow but that’s not ok for why Karen took longer to to mccabes house. Her mean texts are indícate she killed him but proctors mean text are fine. She was drinking so she must have killed him well so was everyone else so why couldn’t they have killed him. He is prosecuting this case like an overworked public defender defends guy who robbed 7 people and went in 40 mile chase. Who looked at this case file and thought it was a good idea to prosecute this case because Lally looks like a tool or he has no ethics it’s one thing to embellish things to win a case in something like a small claims case but when her life is online and it is a clear not winnable case that you have resort sneaky tactics because the evidence is not there that is a problem. It does not matter if the person did it that is police’s fault the family should me mad at police that’s even if anyone actually killed him at this point I just think dude fell he was plastered drunk it would probably been better for everyone if they would have determined that cause his family hates her for no reason that town has ruined its name the state police look like Reno 911. If the Alberts were involved, leaving him outside was the smartest thing they could have done. They could control the narrative that way. If John simply disappeared, Karen would have had an alibi. John's family would not be grieving, they would be frantically searching. That search would start and end at the Alberts.

What is incredible in this case is the numerous people that are on the lives about this case (the polls) all believe Karen Read is innocent .. the FBI hired doctor said “ we don’t know what happened “ but he wasn’t hit by a car !!!! Did it for me ! That and the inverted video . I shudder to think what would have happened if Karen didn’t have these amazing attorneys. These cops thought that night it would be the perfect cover up to place him on the lawn and blame it on Karen … not in a million years did they think this case would gain so much attention because they thought they were the only cops that mattered but guess what John okeefe was the one who mattered he was clearly an amazing person !!! The fact the Alberts are sitting in those seats and didn’t come out of the house that night or go to johns house that morning is a full visual of Narcissistic people !!! Wild

How much leeway do Judges usually give defense/prosecutors during closing arguments? If Judges feel they step out of line what happens? Lally flat out lied a couple times in his closing. Beyond that he bent the truth a handful of times. Thats just what caught listening to this video once while working out.
