Curtis Gilford No one waits days at the ER. We don’t go into debt either. Besides that’s called triage. That means there’s people that need care more urgently than you. That being said, there can be significant wait times for specialists, but that’s also an issue for people with insurance in the US.

"We may be looking at a garage fire guys" *whole house engulfed in flames*
@alexandersalarms53804 жыл бұрын

@Hankeshon4 жыл бұрын
XD, funny comment. Usually when they refer to a garage fire they mean that it started in the garage and then it eventually engulfed the whole house. I know this because my dad is an engineer (guy who drives the fire truck and and hooks the firetruck up to the fire hydrant and controls water pressure) in Sacramento CA. :)
@ImNotaRussianBot4 жыл бұрын
The reason for that comment, I presume, is that most garages have gasoline and lawn equipment/cars with gasoline. So, that was a cautionary statement to watch for potential explosions.

There was two captains on the same apparatus?
@RandomGuy-jq3jz4 жыл бұрын
It was fairly common in our agency, which might differ from state to state or agencies. If an all call went out for us and any available units that could respond would. We ran A, B, and C shifts and each had their own captain, safety officer, and station coordinator. So if we had a serious fire that need man power, it wasnt uncommon for us to have 2 captains on one apparatus. Also due to our requirement for paramedics it was also not uncommon for two captains to be on the same rescue. Like I was saying before, it might differ from state to state. God bless all who walk the thin red, white, and blue line!

It sounds so clear because they're using a mic that is attached to his shirt and the actual fire ground audio is coming from a base station. The actual sound quality coming from the capt portable radio isn't that clear. they just overlaid his transmissions using his mic audio. Thats why the conversation with his crew and the conversation over the radio sound the same.
