Re: the "Continue to run from the elephant" part, a LUCID DREAMER almost never does this. The very second you realize you are dreaming, whatever uncomfortable situation you were in (i.e. fear of a stampeding elephant) is immediately resolved. You may opt to transition to another dream entirely, teleport to better situation... lots of people turn and confront their fear. Still others will fly up and out of harm's way, and observe. Rarely does one just "continue to run." Not that you couldn't, it is more that with so many more exciting, fun, or interesting options, the dreamer will usually make some dramtic use out of their lucidity by manifesting some kind of power or creating somthing out of thin air... talk to the elephant and ask it questions and so on.

Take a moment here to say thanks to Swamiji for showing us a clear path to take 🙏One thing I realized is sometimes we have to get lost first before finding the right path. Then there's the other perspective wherein we're already on the right path but get unsure so we try a different path. It's all good as both will make the right path even more obvious. And once it does, it's adventure time 😂Confident that one knows the way, he/she can try undiscovered paths for enjoyment. 🙏 Thank you to the students who asked questions as well, it's always a two-way street 🙂

Namaste Swamiji, I know that Puja Swami Dayananda wrote a book “The values of values” (sorry, I have not read it). I have read the talks of Swami Paramarthananda about this topic. To me, it is very important in the spiritual path to be an adikaritvam (I know I have so much to improve¡). I am not sure if this is the way, but I will appreciate very much (in the future) to have your experience in this essential theme. Pranam. 🙏

Isn't consciousness being one only a belief just like the idea that consciousnes is two? The answer to this question left me wanting more. im sure it can't be understood intellectually so idk why im asking. 😅

I think the teaching logic there is “prove that there is two or more consciousness”. I have heard it another Satsang from Swāmi.

I believe that there is a new understanding of math in higher levels of infinity. The fractions between the whole numbers are larger than the infinity of whole numbers. I know it's a difficult understanding.

There is not two seperate infinites. In school we are taught to believe math is somehow infallible and a perfect representation of reality. But it is only a set of symbols that we use to help convey ideas in actual reality. So, a limitless idea like infinity must be infinitely representable within that system. This is how most paradoxes work.

Google it. Some infinity are larger than others. Many things aren't intuitive, of course you know that. Anyway, I'm just throwing that out there because the questioner probably felt confused by the response. It's a small thing.

@@tomdorman2486 only in certain context not true overall, in this case the infinities which are bigger and smaller are only in context of cardinality of sets nothing else, if you mathematically compare infinities, all infinities are same, just think about it what is greater than limitless, the answer is nothing so how can anything be greater than infinity it literally contradicts the definition of infinity hence cannot be true that there are some infinities are greater than certain infinities.

Thank you, guys, for your interest in this response. But it’s the mathematicians you should explain your case to. I am fascinated by the subject, though. If you have 1,2,3,... for infinity, and there is an infinite amount of fractions between each number, then for every number up to infinity, there is an infinite amount between each number. So, every time you add a number, the infinite between grows larger. So, the infinity between the infinity is larger. Sorry, but it's fun to think about. Please be kind and know it's just a possibility that I happen to agree with. Have fun,be happy.

@@tomdorman2486 I know about countable infinite and uncountable infinite sets and like I said these definition of infinites only apply to the cardinality of sets not in general, its simply a mathematical framework which is self consistent hence can be used, but to apply it elsewhere is wrong, outside of this context all infinites are of same size is greater than any number you can name, can you name a size greater than this?, the answer is no so how can there be something greater than infinity, it directly contradicts the definition of infinity and hence the logic used to define it.

Swamiji gives an answer of principle (on how cause-effect would account for tracking it and associate it with the Sukshma Shareera), but the questioner is interested in the mechanics of it (operational procedure), which the Swami did not address even after a follow-up. My humble guess is the entanglement of cause & effect alone is enough to deliver it to the right Sukshma Shareera and the mechanism is unknown; after all the doctrine of Karma is only a "belief", if I may quote Swamiji. 🙂 Addendum: For those who are ignorant of how KZbin works: Once I've muted you, I can't see any comment you make here in this thread, or elsewhere in youtube. 🤣

Seems to me that the questioner, in his follow-up question, was interested in the specific details of how the sukshma sharira of one individual is differentiated from the sukshma sharira of another individual for the purposes of ensuring that the “invariable law of cause and effect” presented in the answer was not violated. I would humbly submit that the premise of that follow-up question is erroneous because the “the invariable law of cause and effect” does not need to differentiate between sukshma shariras for its operation. Given that all sukshma shariras are resolved at maha-pralaya (cosmic dissolution), any mechanism which relied on differentiating sukshma shariras for its operation would fail. In contrast, the operation of the “invariable law of cause and effect” is not hindered by the occurrence of maha-pralaya.

@@ytrrs The Taittiriya Upanishad and the puranas are my pramana for asserting that rebirths may span (i.e., be separated by) a total cosmic dissolution event not preserving the differentiation between sukshma shariras. What is your pramana for claiming that rebirth does not span such a cosmic dissolution event? I stand by my position that the follow-up question was illogical in the light of such cosmic dissolution events. If you disagree, please provide support for your position using either shruti or reasoned logic.
