The way you found it so easy while I wasted not one, but THREE rock sandwiches lvl encounter and shiny 3 but not luck yet :(

Make sure you’re saving before making the sandwich and resetting to keep your ingredients. Odds just increase your chance. They don’t guarantee anything. I was hunting in this area for like 15-20 hours for mankey and later charcadet. So it’s not weird I found shinies here. This rockruff was after like 10 hours in this area. You’ve got this friend! Good luck!
