They ones that are working pay for things. Asher pays the gas bill, Judah buys the bread, and Justus buys the eggs.

They do sometimes like that, but more gradually. They want the kids to know they need to contibute to a household, so the teens all have something they are responsible for. The younger teens get a weekly grocery (eggs, bread or milk) and the older ones the smallest monthly bill (the gas bill)
