As someone who went from studio production to live mixing, if you get really familiar with your DAW then you can very quickly learn a digital mixer.

@@LegoMyachiI have an onyx audio interface and a 8 channel mixer. I did a test run in tracktion waveform and… the volume is non existent on the recording. It’s reviving the signal but no matter how much I turn it up literally can’t here anything

im guessing it's either for playing stuff from the laptop onto the console, or for using the speaker calibration mic when tuning the speakers. no need to stereo record thru the tiny scarlett, as M32 allows you to directly multitrack record on a laptop.

It’s not about the size of the room, it’s about the number of channels you have and the tools you need. I’ve used an M32 in rooms much smaller than this, and rooms much larger. You know that bigger board doesn’t mean bigger sound, right?
