That is easy to notice Rcf 100% the sound clarity and deep bass makes the difference! Just sound great. the rest just sound loud. Even if the bose is right in front of the rest

Good review, but running the L1 without a T1 is pointess IMO. It has way too much midrange for DJ playback and not nearly enough low end. The processing from the T1 makes the systems sound entitely different.

Wow… in all the videos I’ve seen so far comparing the EV to the Bose, I’ve consistently liked the EV better… which sucks because I just bought a Bose…. Now I’m thinking about returning them

Have the Bose L1 model 2, four of them. They are great, but expensive. Just purchased 2 RCF EVOX J8 at 2018 DJ expo in Atlantic City. Compared the RCF EVOX J8 with the Ev evolve 50 upstairs in the 2 demo rooms of EV and RCF. Spent about 1.5 hours back and forth from the demo rooms. Spoke to about 20 people that did the same. All 20 people said the same. RCF won over EV. Nice cut with the highs and great bottom end. EV's did not cut, not bad, but they had more of a muddy sound, no matter what adjustments or tunes the reps played. Sorry for the comment! Have owned all the brand speakers, JBl, EV, FBT, QSC, Bose, Mackie, etc,etc. Professional musician, sound man, DJ for decades. Good luck with all your decisions! Note: EV is still a great company, with great products for years.

You still decided BOSE FTW? I would agree, especially when used with a T1. The T1 cuts the hyped midrange the L1 is known for and boost the lows and highs to sound more natural.

Tried the Bose L1 Pro16 it’s a big improvement compared to the old L1 but i wish bose include the carrying bags for the price it should come with it.

Not really a fair comparison with the Evolve out in front. The other 2 systems are behind it and next to walls.

don't be angry, but if there is a direct comparison, then everything should be adjusted (same volume), which is not the case here. I've been a sound engineer for more than 30 years, but that doesn't work at all.

No one does lyrical songs when testing speakers and it is pretty annoying to be honest. It’s important to hear how vocals come through the speakers not just beats

I have tested all the vocals on these array speakers and Nothing beats Bose. So, i personally recommend Bose’s for vocalists. Music and instruments are a different story but, Bose is not behind either. They just need to know how to set up the Bose correctly or the comparison is not justified.

They make a shorter extension pole which is an extra purchase. Otherwise, no. It's a fixed height.

Prize for rcf is good and for ev50 it’s good to but it’s expensive for weight rcf I pick .
