Thanks! I was sketching in Photoshop. And I think I was using brushes from my brush set (available on my "Court Jones" website or through Gumroad).

Good evening, Court ^^ Are you on a permanent hiatus from posting your artwork here? I took a long break from art as I was grappling with some negative thoughts about AI and things, but I’ve recently found myself drawn to it again, no pun intended. I used to watch your teaching videos via Proko and they were so inspiring. I’ve come to realize now that the beauty of art is in the making of it, and not in the finished product. All this to say, I hope you’re still making art, and I hope to see you teaching it again someday!

I am still indeed doing art. Actually, I've been busier than ever with art recently. The past year or so, I've been working full time for a video game company designing and painting celebrity caricatures. Currently, they're being used for a trading card game called "No One Is Safe", by Liithos. Eventually, they may end up as 3D characters in a video game. I haven't been able to post or share anything I've done for them until they published the set. But I think their website shows a preview of some of the caricature cards. Since that contract came to a close, I've been back to work with the Proko team developing something new. But it will be a while before I can talk about that. Of course, I could be a little more active on my Insta or here on KZbin. But I've not had a lot of free time to create original content for this page. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about art and the stuff I've created in the past! I hope I can share more soon.

Is it easier to draw on computer because you can change more without drawing the whole sketch over?

Yes, it is easier to fix mistakes. And there are some other advantages. But it's a little more difficult to control the lines on a tablet than on paper. The glass is more slippery. Also, you cannot hold a stylus in as many different positions in your hand as a well-sharpened pencil.

@mpbell3032 I made a few more live streams after this. This one was from May of 2021. My last live vid was July of that year. After that I just got too busy to do it consistently as the world got back to work after the pandemic shuttdowns. Plus, I never did get COVID :) (knock on wood.)
