Re: the doubled sound at start of each song….. I’m pretty sure they open up the audience microphone at the end of each song and fade it out again a few seconds into each song. It’s pretty consistent through the concert, and is the normal sound of delayed sound picked up over by the sound engineer… assuming that’s where the omni crowd mic is. Of course the sound engineer thought maybe the song was over in escapism, or there was going to be audience interaction… so faded up crowd mic then faded out again when they realized it was more of the song. Great to see this reaction video!! INSANE CONCERT!!!!

Sorry I missed the live with you all. I remember sitting there watching the stream of this show last summer. Electric Callboy had just given a fantastic show as the headliners--one of those performances you never want to follow. The Warning come on at midnight and just grabbed the crowd. It was something to watch how a group unknown to most of the crowd, grabbed hold of an audience and turned them into fans. One of the best 60 minutes of music I have ever seen from DPA.

They were equally headliners as officially there were no headliners. But you are right that it was a tough spot. I watched it live and was really afraid how the crowd would react just after the (literal) fireworks of the German band with a Polish drummer. By the way, the festival is close to the German border so the decrease of crowd size after Electric Callboy may have been mostly the Germans leaving towards the parking lot to drive back home.

The Warning went up on stage at midnight and had another band after them. They did not perform after the headliner because this festival does not have any. The organizer of PolRock had been promoting The Warning on his radio shows since January 2024. Once again there are no headlining bands at Poland Rock which is a free festival attended by almost 300K music lovers. The sharp contrast between electro pop / porn rock of Electric Callboy to the thought provoking profound metaphors of The Warning is astounding.

You are 100% right. I commented elsewhere that the Electric Callboy may have attracted a lot of their German fans from across the German border (2 hour drive from this festival). Some day-visiting Poles may have also left around midnight. So The Warning crowd was mostly the people camping on site. The best crowd.

This was fun guys! Missed the live stream, but thanks for posting this! My favorite part of the concert was when we got to see people in the crowd singing The Warning songs…POLAND knows great ROCK!😊

The real headliner was the Polish band Coma, which played before Electric Callboy. It was a kind of a farewell concert and according to the organizers, there were 450K people at the time. So I think there must have been at least 200K at TW concert. Otherwise, the field would look empty. Lalo, the sound engineer of TW said they had 70K listeners but he also underestimated the Coma crowd as 250K. So...go, figure.

This the appropriate size stage and venue The Warning should be playing most of the time! Obviously I hope they still do smaller venues from time to time but this band should be headlining arenas and stadiums!
