In an age of boy and girl "bands" that only concentrate on vocals, these 3 harken back to the days of when the bands were 1) Talented, 2) Wrote their own music, 3) Really understand music and are meticulous about how it's performed, 4) Even though the bands of old were not necessarily good looking, these girls have the looks too. Music will live on because of this band.

I was listening to my vinyl of Queen Of The Murder Scene (their second - and concept! - album) this afternoon, and I still can't figure how teenagers managed to imagine, write, compose and record such a masterpiece. I was starting to learn guitar at their age! They're really something special - you just have to listen to them talking to realise it anyway!

Doc Loco, their talent level is off the charts but they started with rock band at such an early age that it is understandable. They say you have all your original thoughts by the time you are mid teens. Talent is a great part but also hard work. And they have definitely work their asses off

I agree about the change of pace. Its much needed because I do not like a lot of artists he has covered recently (I do not bother to dislike or be hugely negative when that happens though). I notice a few very negative comments and dislikes already but its clearly people who prefer Fil analysing country, folk and soul music often from decades ago. I am glad he mixes it up.

Thank you SO much for this! I was lucky enough to see them live on the last day of the UK part of their recent (2023) European tour (huge thanks to Cpt Cactus with the aid in getting me there!); my first live concert for around 20 years! Your interview with them is possibly the best interview of the young ladies that I have seen, and it was really nice to Ale being more vocal than she usually is. I'd like to say I have been a supporter of The Warning since their early days, but I have to admit that I was only introduced to them a couple of years ago via a reaction channel (Dana's Faith) and just loved the music. One of my favourite bands is, ironically another trio, Rush whose music I pretty much grew up with, but if I had been born 40 years later I suspect that The Warning would be my Rush.

They almost signed a deal back when they played in New York but they want to stay independent like no other band . It's something I haven't ever seen to be this successful without a label . Rock !

The reason the played in New York was for Jason Flaum to see them ,he messaged and said he was delayed then messaged back that he was coming but could only stay for a short time but when he got there stayed for the rest of the show.

Thank you, Fil. I found The Warning because of your reaction last year, and they’re now my favorite band in the world. I listen to them every day. Of course there will always be naysayers; that’s ok. Not all music is for everyone...and outright trolling is just a part of the social media deal. Rather than engage with all that nonsense one comment at a time, I’ll just say this: there exists a dedicated group of people who are absolutely devoted to the work of these young women...and that group is growing virtually every day. Many of us express said devotion with our wallets. In short: post all the snarky comments you like. As long as The Warning have fans to back them financially, they’re just going to keep creating the music they love...and we, in turn, are going to love hearing it. That’s the only comment that really matters. Thanks again, Fil. You’re the best.

If memory serves, The Warning released their first album in 2018, which means they will be eligible for the Rock n Roll hall of fame in 2043. With that said, Phil interviewing them now is like interviewing The Beatles in early 1964. The virus postponed their north American tour, but it would be easy to imagine The Warning on a world tour in 2022. Since rock bands do better overseas, it would be so cool seeing them play Wembley (arena) in England and maybe the legendary Boudikan arena in Japan. Since Babymetal tours a lot it would be so cool to see The Warning open for Babymetal. I would fly anywhere in the world to see that show.

I sent this video to Ebullition, in Bulle (Gruyère) which is on the Swiss Club tour. They have a good connection with European clubs. That is the way, smaller venues but getting the recognition with young'uns. LOL

OMG Fil, you just made my night. I loved you last two reactions / analysis of The Warning and the technical aspects of their live performances... But to have them on for an interview and discuss these all of their song writing and live performances in person... Just WOW... If you get the chance to see them live DO IT!! you will not be disappointed. I have seen them 3 times and plan on seeing them on their NA tour at least 4 or 5 dates

Fast forward two years and a bit. I just saw them live, standing in the centre, fifteen feet from the stage in a small club in Toronto, Canada. The power of the bass, drums and rhythm guitar tore my head clean off. I can't remember when I've heard bass guitar sound like that and so glued into the drums. Another wonderful Spanish-language song is Martirio. They have fantastic new songs. Everything has matured. Dany has become an eye magnet fronting the band. Regarding the use of backing tracks, many old people can resent it, but I believe this is the music of the future. From Pau's discussion, it's obvious that a lot of work goes into it. However, they still sing and play live, so it's all good. Fantastic interview, Fil.

Just watched this again,and its definitely one of the girls favorite interviews,no doubt about it....but,apart from "Choke" last year,you've not done anything else with The Warning. I thinks it's time you had another reaction to these girls,or an updated interview. You'll no doubt know,they've released their 3rd album "Error" a few months back,so there's several songs to choose from,notably "Revenant","23","Evolve" and "Error". Excellent interview. I really enjoyed the discussion of all the technical aspects of the live performance and songwriting. These girls have shown how they have their own voice in music and their own style, so it’s great that they have maintained their independence.
