Why cruise out of Vancouver vs Seattle? One, you get to cruise the Inside Passage which is much more scenic. You also get to sail away looking at the city and then under the Lions Gate Bridge past Stanley Park with the mountains to the north is gorgeous. Two, Vancouver is a beautiful city. The port is right downtown close to everything, including a beautiful park and beaches and more nature is a very short ride away with attractions like Grouse Moutain and Capilano Suspension Bridge. And we have so much great food with very diverse dining with tons of Asian food.

My first cruise was on the Diamond Princess to Alaska. What fun! I have a cruise scheduled on the Island Princess in December/January. As a note, I took the Island Princess through the Panama Canal years ago, and I love that ship. For me, smaller is better.

We were on NCL Bliss in June in Alaska and Starlink was great. The constellation concept allows good coverage at all latitudes.

Hi guys, you answered a question about round trip Eastern Canada cruises and you said there were none. Now there aren’t but before the Pandemic shutdown we had a 10 day with Royal that was a Montreal return and went out to Newfoundland, PEI and Nova Scotia. we’ve never seen another one like it since which is a bummer because ours was cancelled due to COVID😢
