My guy, you have Disney on the brain. That Pontiac hearse was called "Fyn-L-Ryd," like "final ride," not Flynn Ryder. Lol. This is why we love you.

@@Bekahrama Also about the hearse: It was called a “Pontiac Superior“ because the chassis, running gear and front end was made by Pontiac but everything from the dashboard back was made by the Superior Coach Company of Lima, Ohio.

25:38 It says alot about a person who visits a church regardless of the religion that removes their caps when entering. Well done boys. When my sons were young and we visited several California Missions I taught them to remove their caps. I gotta say I got a little emotional seeing you both sans caps. ❤️👍

Great video. I grew up in the Tacony section and then Willow Grove. My grandmother lived in the Frankford section. We used to do a lot of shopping at the stores along Kensington ave. This was way before "Rocky" was filmed there. We took the train/El from Willow Grove to Reading station often to get to center city. Lots of memories. Live in Central Florida now.

Philly Capt is a great addition. Just hilarious and very colorful. I’ve never been to Philly and this gives me a good reason to not want to visit. There’s “rough” or “gritty”, but then there’s Philly apparently. Major props to those who call it home. I’m surprised nobody has bought up all those old run-down attached homes or business buildings to develop something modern. The church interior is beautiful, but I’m sorry Philly’s baptism church is now abandoned. RIP to the great Harry Kalas. Good video Adam.
@juniatapark544 күн бұрын
Philadelphia is a tough and gritty town, and many of us like that. But Philadelphia also has beautiful, wealthy, neighborhoods; where homes sell for millions of dollars. For those millions you could buy a colonial rowhome that's older than the United States, or a larger three and four story Victorian era rowhome, or a mansion with lawns all around it.

For the $7 that you spent on that Mickey Mouse comic, you probably could have gotten like 14 comic books at 50 cents a piece, and had plenty of enjoyment reading them. Great interaction with the Philly Captain! I think 90% of your viewers realize that you two are joking back and forth and nothing is meant as a serious insult.

Harry Kalas was such a great man. Always went above and beyond for the fans, and was the best of the best in the broadcast booth. My bothers and I played wiffle ball in the backyard all our childhood, and when there was a game it would be on our radio, and often our grandpa would be there listening and watching us play. I'm glad Harry didn't have to see the Phillies sit out a game in support of a child napper and S crime thug, while they did absolutely nothing for the targets of his crime. That was when I quit following the Phils after being a lifelong fan.

Love seeing these old neighborhoods. My parents are from the Pittsburgh area, and I love seeing the old neighborhoods. Most are run down because of the exodus of coal mining. I grew up in Houston, where people think if their house is more than 20 years old its OLD 😂 The Captain to me has more of a yinzer accent than a Philly accent.
