Thank you for walking through this new device. I absolutely love the idea of separating your video encoding and network bonding.

sounds perfect if you can NOT have the internet go down! I have to have internet at all times for my work. I will have to check out your site. Thanks for the informative video

You don’t even know how much. This help me !!! I had been so frustrated because Live U & TVU just didn’t understand what I needed when I talked to their sales team My only question what has been your upload speed when you been in the remote areas

Hey! Glad it helped. I get between 30-50mbps pretty much everywhere because it’s three carriers. I am testing external high gain antennas too. Happy to chat! Joe@streamingct.com

How does this compare to a Peplink MAX BR2 bonding router?
@streamingct10 ай бұрын
Hey! Thanks for watching. Just got some Peplink gear in to test out and compare. I got the transit max duo lte since the MRNET is LTE only. In general though, peplink has speed fusion which is their bonding. One downside is that there are only two build in cellular modems into all their devices and as far as I can see no public IP/port forwarding. Will be doing some vids on it. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to chat. joe@streamingct.com

What is the license cost every year? How much for renewing the data plans?

Is there a plan where you can turn it on or off if you have only a few livestreams a year?

So, how does something like this work with overlay networks like Tailscale, Netbied or Zerotier? Seems like that could make for some interesting scenarios.
@streamingct Жыл бұрын
Hey Jeremy, thanks for watching and for the questions. Overlay networks should work just fine with this. The overlay networks usually make outbound connections to the beacons. That is a good test I can do though to be sure.

@@streamingct that would be a good video. Also setting up a basic port forward would be a good test.

Absolutely Amazing.. Does it work outside the US?

Will this work with Starlink as the wan port provider?
@streamingct5 ай бұрын
Yes it will! Especially now that starlink has much lower latency (I am getting 20-40ms) it doesn’t break the bonding. Just got the new starlink mini.

only way to truly bond a connection is through a VPN. How much are they charging for their bonding service? Or is it load balancing...
@streamingct11 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks for the comment. It uses a vpn to a aggregation server. It is true bonding not load balancing. The box is $1k, the yearly service and support is $1500 and the data is $8/GB of data aggregated between three carriers (or you can use your own SIMs)

@@streamingct doesn’t speedify or smoothwan do this for way cheaper?
@streamingct11 ай бұрын
There are other solutions based on MPTCP, but what runs on this is customer algorithm for allocating data based on strength of WAN connections. Something like Speedify can be fine (have used it) for simple setups, but for mission critical applications, having a dedicated bonding router is better IMO.

So.. what teltonika has done for years?
@Rustic_Farmer4 ай бұрын
No. They only have fallover. This box is a crock of garbage. It uses a vpn service, you can use a similar vpn service called speedify but in reality they dont do what they say they can. Interesting you get the same results just by using a windows PC and bridging the connections. Mini PC will cost you far less than this device and service costss

Cool concept, but $1000 just for hardware and then $1500 a year + $8 per GB? Seriously???
@streamingct Жыл бұрын
For sure a commercial product. I can say that the other bonding devices we used were the same or higher in price. Because bonding requires a cloud component to always be provisioned, there is ongoing cost.
