At this time, I am almost exclusively trading Nasdaq - 100 and on rare occasions the S and P 500. I post nearly 100% of my trades, both failures and successes with no edits to the trade itself.

Selling upclose or buying downclose is scary but thats where you get the best entries that allow for moving Stops BE quickly, great job on your entries. We learn from every trade. I was confident in this move in the moment. Keep up the good work!

Just a suggestion based on observing your trades the last few times. Look at the waves of movement. The first short was a near perfect 5-wave move from the top with Wave 5 = Wave 1. That would have given you an exit near the bottom. Second - if you’re gonna trail your stop, trail it below / above the trend line formed from the beginning of the trade to the first pullback. Trailing halfway back on the last candle has a high potential of getting hit because of 50% pullbacks.

@@RohnisGames “Big 🏀’s” haha. Thanks … the confidence to enter trades this way originated from ICT mentorship. He teaches to enter longs when the market is pushing down in key areas and to enter shorts when the market is pushing up into key bearish levels. Sometimes I hesitate. Actually, often I hesitate but working to improve on confidence and consistency every week :) The number of micros looks crazy but it’s only because I’m copy trading all of my accounts. It’s never more than 8 micros per account.

@@hrtradesnq Hi 👋. Great question. I’m going to get very detailed because I know a lot of people have this question. For evals, there is no rule for stops or target profits at this time. Once you are trading an Apex performance/funded account, Apex simply wants to see consistency and sensible trading. As stated by the Apex team, they are not picking apart every single trade, it’s more so about how you’re consistently trading. I’m paraphrasing there but below are the objective hard facts. So for performance/funded accounts the following rules apply: 1: You are NOT required to have a stop loss or a profit target placed during your trade. Mental stops and mental profit targets are allowed but be consistent just like you would if you were trading your own money. 2: When using stops and profit targets your initial stop should be no more than 3-4 times your profit target. Between 3-4 times the targeted potential is acceptable to Apex without triggering a red flag. Slight overages will be reviewed and accepted based on consistency, history, and no existence of prohibited activity or account cycling. 3: You can move your stop or profit target after initial placement without issue, so you can trail your trade or increase or decrease the profit target to manage the trade how you see fit after initial placement if so desired. Let me further explain the stop to profit target ratio as that’s typically what throws people off. If you enter a trade and place a profit target for $100, then your stop should not exceed what would be a loss of $300-400. The REWARD TO RISK ratio would look like 1:4 for a potential $100 gain and potential $400 loss max. The only time something different applies is when you have been caught breaking rules and get put on probation. If this has happened to you then you need to follow whatever Apex has advised you of. So basically, Apex is allowing you to get away with mmmmuurrdeerrrr! Happy trading! (Visit the ATF website, go to help desk, and type in stop loss in the search bar to get to the video and/or written rules regarding stop losses and profit targets. ALWAYS go by what Apex says directly and always do the due diligence to verify anything stated by myself or anyone else.)

@@hrtradesnq Apex does not state there’s a limit to how often you can use a mental stop. There’s no rule against mental stops so if that’s how you trade you can trade like that consistently. What Apex wants, and I’m paraphrasing here, is for you to have an actual system or strategy that you trade. If you use a mental stop they want you to be a good risk manager and know where you’re getting in your trades, where you’re stop is even if mental, and where you are exiting. Make sure you’re trades are not exceeding a 1:4 REWARD TO RISK (example: risking $300-$400 to make $100 profit based on SL and TP). So essentially trade a consistent system and you’re just fine. If you have a scenario where you normally place and stop and profit target but didn’t on one particular trade, again based on Apex’s statements, they aren’t looking to pick apart every single trade. They want to see overall consistency. I’m paraphrasing a ton in this response so again for you or anyone else reading this go to the initial response to your first comment and read through the objective rules once more. The info can be found on the ATF site through the help desk, type mental stop or stop loss in the search bar and review “what are the consistency rules for PA and Funded accounts”.

@@ricardoslok9803 Yeah, I’ve taken a number of Apex payouts and I’ve never had an issue. I’ve posted a couple payouts, go to “community” on my KZbin page to check out a recent payout post which includes a screen shot of the request, e-mail approval, “payment sent” email, and actual deposit to my bank account. I also posted some payout stuff on my IG as well, same handle.

@@kirkblackshear Buddy go back and watch the trades and watch for the actual entries. For all the Kirk’s out there: I did not catch any falling knives, it’s indeed a real trade, and I’m copy trading accounts with micros. I’m in each trade on each account with 5 micros with a max risk per account of $200 that day. Max risk at this time is never above $350 per account. And once again, for all of you so eager to pull my resume, I have over 500 posted trades on KZbin displaying my real imperfect trading journey over the past year as a day trader. I am not an influencer but I am objectively one of the realest traders on KZbin, very little bs on this channel and I’m showing you my everyday wins, losses, and now even posting my payouts in the community tab so people can see the real process of a payout request with Apex trader funding. Let me be clear, I’m not here to entertain anyone. I document my journey and make it public to help with my own personal accountability and review, to connect with traders more experienced than myself who often give me great advice and insight, and to provide an inside look for newbies wondering what’s it’s like to day trade full time.
