As a Live twin player, I am sad at the missed opportunities he had. Trouble sunny wasn't used to its full potential. Could have ran the live Twin boss monster and saved your own card. could've attacked with trouble sunny. I appreciate you displaying the deck though.

remember folks its the pilot not the deck. I agree the deck isn't increasing the ceiling of the sprights engine but the same can be said with branded tear, I know this is "ten" minute testing but the deck is actually pretty solid if you know what to do, if you just want to do monkey brain play then yes spright toad is the go to

just to add up, a good example of an end-board from spright twin is with elf, carrot and/or red, and both the evil twin link (don't need sunny), you get a draw and/or destroy, a monster negate and/or a spell/trap negate by using the twin as the carrot/red tribute and revive them again with the twin own effects, there's also some people who can get to scythe with the above board which is insane another card I see people underestimate is spright gamma burst, in the spright/toad variant its an ok card, but it works wonder in spright twin

I think it’s a little unfair to judge prematurely on 1 match where they top decked DRNM. You don’t play the live twin spells just the main deck monsters so that’s space for a playset of crows which would shut down tears. Also could’ve mained ultimate slayer since he had the N’tss in ED, I know it’s probably in his side deck but I might push for it to be in my main seeing as it hits everything except synchro unless you somehow have a synchro ED monster

You could use Psy-Frame Omega to loop itself and ultimate slayer back or just use it to loop a second sunny, or even a scythe/dagda if you play them. There's a lot of options.

@@Soggy-Poggy yeah exactly. The Gamma package is a great option in this deck too, the ratios were fine minus the twin spells but this deck has a lot of gas. Most decks this format will lose to DRNM, tears can extend even afterwards but I mean, if I have to choose between getting rid of winda/caliga or stop you from fusing from grave I’ll choose to play the game. Unless you have another winda. In which case good shit

I’m a live twin player through and through- I’ll die on the hill that it’s one of the best decks to play to get better at yugioh.. at least last format. Since you can play like 20+ hand traps in pure it helps you understand and get better at your triggers and to be mindful of resources. I’m playing frog splight though just because the lv/rank/link 2 and fiend locks hurt each other much more than you’d expect. Live twin was borderline unplayable when genesis impact came out up until trouble sunny (I still built it and it’s the deck that got me back into the game). Trouble is an insane card and it just doesn’t make a lot of sense to play it with an archetype (that in my opinion) it hinders. Again, it is super pilot intensive and I don’t think I could do better than Mr. Monobussytron. There is a huge chance I’m super wrong though and I kinda hope I am. Super cool deck in theory at the very least and hopefully will get better as it sees more play

This game was lost due to pilot miss plays. The live twin main deck boss monster would’ve been clutch here and saved him from using his own monster for TS. And not to mention he never even attacked with trouble sunny, he literally just used the effect after summoning it and handed the win over to his opponent.

Trouble Sunny is not that good, it just gives you a big body and 1 draw, which are outclassed by everything Spright does for the deck. The problem here is that this build is just a worse version of normal Spright Frog instead of something made to capitalize on the strenghts of Twins (playing either Scythe or a ton of handtraps)

@@TinPrince You can still go into it in turn 3 for the removal and the spright extension (especially elf) allows you to be able to send a link on field easily instead of adding a brick to your deck. I certaintly wouldn't main deck Slayer. (obviously if you're siding Slayer then you would also side the big twins)

After Episode: Personally, I'm not running Frog engine. I feel it's just another set of cards you stuff in to make a negate, at least for what I've tested. I feel I can pilot fine without them, but I'd be eager to be proved wrong on that front. Still gonna be the list I play; have to stay true to my crime gals!

Agree, I feel like the point of playing evil twin sprights is protecting the twin's interruption/resource cycle with the sprights, there is no need for frog engine. If he had like 3 secret password and 1 of the spright ATK boost quick it would've fixed the issues with consistency and power (Trouble Sunny locked makes it really difficult to do anything in BP)

If you can keep a simple board, then you shouldn’t need the boost from that card. I’ve personally found Scythe very easy to access myself. Lots you can do!

Damn, Scythe IS hella busted in E*T now that you mentioned it. Just assumed people played it bc of how easy it is to pop with Lil-la, but it does make the entire deck's job easier like you said. I kinda dislike cards like scythe for E*T tbh, what I like in the deck is control via interruption which fosters more interaction compared to floodgates. I'm a filthy casual though lol

You could do even funnier stuff: iirc masq+elf+kisikil make a 3 mat Arrival. Though I don't feel you have much of a need for TS in this deck honestly sprights offer enough protection (and tributing the link 2s for their eff is really nice) + elf's revive helps a lot with the loop

@@acepower1000 I played a version of this deck for a while in MD, and it really does go off. With the right play sequence, you can end with a a pair of Twins being pointed to by a Spright Elf and a set of Spright Red and Carrot. That's a Monster and Backrow Negate with bonus destruction if you pay the cost using the Twins, who can then summon each other back and trigger their on-summon effects for an additional destruction and draw. And if you can get Spright Pixies in hand, that's either a battle deterrent or a battle trap. Then that same board can easily pivot into a devastating offensive assault the following turn.

For what I've seen people use dagda(ugh) or IP to make more versatile boards,also key against tearas they do not trigger in battle so Avramax and borrelsword,which are easy to make with leftover materials before locks,are fun options

MBT's second turn should have looked like this... 1. Special Jett (DON'T USE STARTER) 2. Normal Swap Frog 3. Use Swap and Jett to make Elf. 4. Elf effect to grab Live Twin Lil-la from deck. 5. Elf + Dupe to make Gigantic with 3200atk (Make sure to put in a normal monster zone and DON'T USE EFFECT) 6. Ronintoadin effect banishing Swap to Special Summon itself 7. Ronintoadin + Lil-la to make an Evil Twin Lil-la 8. Evil Twin Lil-la effect to special summon Ki-sikil from grave. 9. Lil-la + Ki-sikil to make Evil Twin Ki-sikil 10. Evil Twin Ki-sikil effect to special summon Evil Twin Lil-la from grave, pop a card. 11. Both evil twins to make Trouble Sunny At this point, both Trouble Sunny and Gigantic can take out two more monsters during the battle phase, and follows with an additional pop and draw from the twins on his opponents turn. Infinitely better than the butchered line of play he chose 😅 Donno man... the extra pops, draws and 3300atk bodies the twins provide definitely feels like an improvement to me over the base archetype. The issue is the lines of play are often not very obvious and it is very easy to accidentally lock yourself into the level/rank 2 or fiend monsters too early.

This is like a legit meta deck(not this build). It's one of the better spright variants(which means it's still powerful) and topped a few ocg events. I believe it's the second most used spright deck in the OCG atm.

Okay, i need to know if this is a thing: would Tearlaments work with Altergeists? You could use King of the Swamp to specifically make The Dark Magicians, and that basically gives the deck a Heatsoul more or less. Plus: Alergeists like to use a lot of traps, so the ability to top deck and set back row cards on the opponent's turn is pretty nice for them. Please god, I hope this is bad. I fucking hate dealing with Altergeists. I'd rather mill out against Mine than have to run into an influx of people playing a good hand control deck.

Can someone tell me the reason for not chaining Imperm to the DRNM @6:39 followed by 1-2 negates afterwards, due to Dragostapelia negating one of our own negates, instead of hoping that the opponent wouldn't have enough gas to power through the current board? Same thing is with effects like hot red where your targeting a card on the field to stop it, hence chaining imperm chain 2 hot red works while chain 2 toad and such effects dont

Trouble Sunny is a really good boss monster but you cycle through it so fast. You definitely need more than one copy. The N’tss is very replaceable because this list isn’t playing Ultimate Slayer.

The deck kinda plays like that in the ocg, but because of maxx c, plus the traps you can hold the game and eventually draw into board breakers and equalizers. Here we need to be able to go second, opening a hand of solemns and no starters will lose you the game anyway even if you go first
