Live Uit Lloyd - Level 42 - It's Over

Live Uit Lloyd ontvangt vandaag de fameuze Britse 80's band Level 42! De band van bassist en zanger Mark King en toetsenist en zanger Mike Lindup verzorgen in Live uit Lloyd een akoestisch optreden.
Level 42 bestaat ruim dertig jaar en scoorde vooral in de jaren 80 grote internationale hits als Lessons in Love, Love Games en Hot Water. De band toert momenteel door Nederland.
Kenmerkend was en is het basspel van Mark King. Hij was aanvankelijk de drummer van de band maar verruilde de drumkit voor de bas die hij als een soort drummer bespeelde. Daarmee ontwikkelde hij een typische 'slappend' basspel.
Toetsenist en zanger Mike Lindup maakt ook nog steeds sinds de begindagen deel uit van de band. Andere bandleden zijn momenteel Nathan King op gitaar, Sean Freeman op saxofoon en Pete Ray Biggin op drums.
