Varicocele embolization is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat varicoceles, which are enlarged veins within the scrotum. This condition can cause pain, swelling, and fertility issues. During the procedure, an interventional radiologist inserts a catheter into a vein in the groin or neck and guides it to the affected veins. Tiny coils or a special solution are then deployed to block blood flow to the varicocele, causing the veins to shrink. This outpatient procedure has a high success rate, minimal recovery time, and fewer risks compared to traditional surgical methods.

Diagnosed with varicocele grade-2, 2 months back. Went to urologist, he said nothing to worry about. He checked by touching it and said no issue, just wear support. went to another doctor after 1 month for surety.. he also said the same thing. No worry... just wear support and do not lift heavy weight....still having pain in left testis while sitting...Wearing supporter everyday... please suggest how long it will take to fully recover??
