This person, Darrell Brooks, is beyond redemption. His actions during this portion of the trial prove he is a psychopath, he has no empathy, no compassion and no sorrow for what he did. He is truly a waste of the air it takes to keep him alive. He deserves nothing, absolutely nothing. My heart breaks for the people of Wakasha. May you find peace.

@@Hello-ig1pxyou are so wrong. He drove into the people. He dodged the parade vehicles. He didn't simply drive into one solid crowd. He drove the length of 5 blocks, hitting people and running over people FROM BEHIND. The people had no warning. No horn warning them, nothing. He definitely did do it on purpose. And he is too much of a cockroach to admit his offense. Oh and the only time he hit his brakes was when he did it to throw the body of a dead woman off the hood of the vehicle.

plenty of worse people that will make brooks seem like a boyscout. just one example Anders Breivirk he killed like 81 kids between the ages of 10-18 yaers old at a youth political event on a island called Utöya he was dressed as a police officer blew a bomb in the city as a distraction before proceding to brutally gun down kids on the island meny kids tried to swim away those that diddent get shot in the water or hide in the water line or around the island drowned in the cold water brooks dont even enter this catagory of evil. he was armed with pipe bombs m4 style assault rifle even equiped with a bayonet and full police tactical gear police werent able to respond before almost 81 kids was massacred when he was done with the kids he dropped all weapons and gave himself up. it was a true terror act in the sense that he killed the kids because it was the new generation of potentional political activist that have values/politics that diddent aline with his belifs. sry for bad english its my fourth language. but my heart goes out to the familes never easy to have someone loved ripped from your life, love from Denmark

@@tru3293 the way he rolls his eyes at the victims and pounds his chest is unbelievable. Truly sickening to watch this evil man do this. I’m pretty sure if he’s put into population in prison someone’s going to stab him up just because he will run his mouth and try to act tough. Plus for inmates to take out a high profile killer like Brooks will boost their own status behind bars. So I’d imagine he will stay in protective custody for a while and on 23/1 lockdown.

Watching Cruz and Brooks with the victim impacts statements, I think the process needs to change. 1. NO MASKs. They should not be allowed to hide. 2. They should have to write a summary on each statement. So we know they LISTENED and understood. 3. Take everything away from them. Make them sit in a straightback chair and listen. This process has morphed along the way. It needs to change.

1:26:32 The next 10-20 seconds footage are the most satisfying of this trial. The trial proceedings are stopped abruptly.. Darrell overhears whispers of threats to the court by bailiffs, the bailiffs turn to protect the judge, the judge goes to safety. It’s the sheer look of PANIC on his face 😵‍💫 Darrell DOESN’T KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING … he looks left & right and back again.. there’s NO WHERE HE CAN GO, he’s LOCKED IN PLACE, the guy with the supposed pew pew could burst in any second but he’s TRAPPED, he’s SCARED, he’s ANXIOUS, HE CANT GET AWAY TO SAFETY! THIS is only 00.001% of how those hundreds of people felt that day as Darrell came barrelling towards them and their loved ones and only 00.0001% of how those who were hit or actually lost their lives must have felt. 😢 I’ve watched this few seconds over a few times and yes with a smile. I feel bad even suggesting it makes be happy,,, it’s not like me at all… but just for a few seconds it’s good to see that man feel a something of what those people affected did.

I have never hated anyone I haven’t met until this man. I really wish victims could vote on punishments. Maybe having to endure recurring hits with an SUV then when he heals doing it again and again until it matches the number of counts he faces. Or maybe allowing the inmates to beat him weekly for the duration of his life. Or taking access from him to contact any of his family or friends again since the victims can’t contact theirs. I don’t know but some people deserve real punishment that relates to their crimes. The judge should have been way tougher on him and should have absolutely addressed him mocking the victims! That pissed me off. The only thing that gets me through watching his nonsense is knowing he’s locked up for life! Seeing the outside of his cell only 1-2 hours a day but never being let out again!

@themanofiron785 28 күн бұрын
The judge was trying to avoid him getting any real chance for a mistrial, that's why she was so lenient. I bet it was extremely difficult for her to control her temper. But in the end she had the biggest laugh, because a judge who gives a convict 6 life sentences and 766.25 years in prison cannot be called lenient (at least, not in a state where there's no death penalty), unless you consider the 93 years she cut off by making sentences concurrent as "leniency". Yes, the abomination did insult the victims, but I think it would have been much worse to allow him to get a mistrial, make court proceedings even longer and sentence another poor judge to have to deal with him. No one except him would benefit from that.

Darrelevant...in typical form. When he hears about love and loss of loved ones, he rolls his eyes. I know we all see that, but it makes me wonder 'why'? I assume it is like everything else; when he perceives a threat from others, or anyone stealing his thunder, he lashes back. That anti-social personality shows up, and it takes so little to tick him off. He is being quiet, but the prays he makes are for himself, no one else. The worst one is that not 1 person talks to him, no guards talk to him...he can't tell everyone how awesome he is etc...this fool is definitely evil. 😱😡😤🤬😈👿💩🤡👹👺

@@miguelortiz5822 It practically was. The speed at which this case was brought to trial was the fastest I have ever heard of. And less than an hour of deliberation? They barely had time to choose a foreman and take a first vote to get the idea of how everyone leaned. My guess is they did not need to discuss it at all because they all agreed with the initial vote. Then they all had to sign the stack of papers. I do wish the judge could tack on a few years for every eye roll during these statements! His theatrics get so old.

I think it's actually better that she didn't. It exposes his lack of remorse for his actions even more. In fact, it strengthens every statement given by the victims. Other criminals would display a poker face, cry, or maybe just lower their heads during such statements. This creature's behaviour basically tells "I killed 6 people and I am so proud of it, now let me out of here". I believe that him behaving like he was sorry, or had any sort of remorse (when clearly he doesn't) would have been even more disgusting.

Sadly I think the only thing that might have gotten through to someone as selfish and self centered as Darrell, is asking him to imagine how he would feel if his own children had been mowed down by a vehicle, had been forced to suffer extreme pain or even death, because of the person driving that car and to ask how enraged and demanding of justice he would have been, had it been his children in that road that day. Even then his immaturity would probably prevent him from actually reflecting on how this would feel.
