However, I also know India's diplomacy has been failing when it comes to its neighbourhood. if India and china were to face head to head then, all countries in India's neighbourhood are going to side with China. We need to re-assess our ties. We definitely can't buy them through aids and equipment. China has deep pockets. So what we can do is increase our soft power, find cultural ties, Bollywood, yoga, etc. Nepal blockade is written in nepalese minds, it was the poorest of poor decision on India's part.They don't trust India for their security. These facts are conveniently swept under the carpet by Palestinian supporters particularly in the muslim world. The same Pakistani army killed and raped millions of their then compatriots in present day Bangladesh and no one protested - neither other Muslim nations nor the western high priests of human rights.

The Airport Authority needs to be held responsible for operational issues. ILS needs to be the norm. Delhi doesn't have to be the largest airport, hopefully the new airport in Mumbai will offer some relief. Delhi should have a backup airport that doesn't suffer from fog and people can be transported by train.

Taiwan hasn't been a part of China all through the centuries. In the 1600's China did control the island but this only lasted around a hundred years. Spain and Portugal controlled it but Portugal won and named it Formosa. In 1948 the Capitalistic Chinese fled to Taiwan and since then they have prospered while mainland China failed under Mao. Taiwan has the sixth highest economy in the world. China took over Hong Kong and ruined their economy so people don't even wish to have children. Mainland China is Capitalistic but only under strict approval by the CCP. They do not treat their 47 minorities with the same freedoms and economic opportunities. If Taiwan unites with China the Taiwanese will not fare any better.
