So sorry I missed the Live 😢 I was out for the day with friends at a new-to-me huge nursery (Flower World in Snohomish). Came home with 6 new plants!

Here's a question for our live guest Cindy Funes @gardenrevelry from Lynn Bitter: ​​Caught this at end of live: I want to plant a low container with three sedums that are all relatively short. Any ideas.?I have Angelina and want to add 2 more for interest in texture and color.

Hi Lynn, I love this idea. There are SO many sedums/succulents available in different colors and texture that you could play with. Sempervirens might be a good choice as well. Many offer bold texture that would be a nice contrast against the Sedum 'Angelina'. And, depending on your color preference (cool or warm tones) you could choose something in an icy blue realm or something in the coral tones to pair with the Sedum. The mint blue will cool down the brightness of the 'Angelina' and conversely the Angelina will brighten up the cool blue. Yellow, orange and mint blue can be a stunning combination. Check out Sempervirens 'Coral Red' 'Red Rubin' or 'Pacific Blue'.as potential options. I also really like Semperviren Carmen which is a green rosette with red tips and Fire Quartz which is burgundy with green tips for the ability to tie a combination together. Depending on whether you are wanting to overwinter or not, and where you live, Echevera could also be an option. They however are only hardy in containers to Zone 9 and like it dry so wouldn't likely make it over the winter here in my neck of woods.

Hi guys I missed the live chat sorry I’ve really got stuck into my garden but slugs,snails have been eating my plants I ordered some copper tape but I tried the beer in a tub method and o my goodness there must have been at least 30 slugs I know it’s not environmentally friendly but I thought o it won’t work,love your chat guys very informative have a lovely weekend 😊
