Maybe one piece is the best shonen manga of all time …maybe? And that’s only because Oda is a god at foreshadowing and making events in the story feel like they could’ve taken place in real life, but I want whatever drugs you’re taking if you think one piece is better than series like 20th century boy’s, monster, legends of the galactic heroes, infinite ryvius, kingdom and and Vinland saga. We aren’t even gonna touch on the centuries worth of comic books films and literature that one piece wouldn’t even be able to exist without since I doubt you’ve read anything that wasn’t written by tolkien or George r.r Martin.

I've read countless works of fantasy fiction, comics and Manga and have watched a wide array of movies ranging from 60s and 70s French Nouvelle Classics to this centuries Blockbusters. I have seen most great animes. I loved most of it. Still One Piece is among my favorites because the story, characters and Worldbuilding connect to me on a deep emotional level. It makes me laugh, it makes me cry, it makes me appreciate the ups and downs of life even more. That why it transcends all other fiction for me. You know what they call this drug that I'm taking? Personal Taste.

Listening to rob just makes me laugh. Zoro didn't tell luffy because he knows luffy best out of everyone. So he out of all people know that luffy's reaction has a higher possibility of being negative than it does positive due to the fact that he will feel completely responsible. Sure he could tell him and gamble on the fact that everything will be fine but there is no benefit in doing that. There are multiple places that show this trait of luffy. 1. after ace took the blow he completely broke down and was blaming himself, he was damn near the point of quiting if jimbei didn't slap some sense into him. 2. bon clay sacrifice. there is a reason why he didn't tell luffy till later, and even then luffy felt responsible. Also by telling luffy you are just making him feel worse about the whole situation because on top of all of that he will feel like he needed to do something in order to repay the action. For example if my friend were to do that part of me would want to know they did it but part of me wouldn't. Because by knowing that, I would feel like I needed to constantly repay him for what he did for me which would definitely have an effect on our friendship.

If you think zoro telling luffy that he took his pain would make luffy move differently in to marineford and other places you don't know luffy as a character. Luffy whole goal is protecting his crew that is the only thing he thinks he is good at. If zoro told him he took his pain all what would happen is that luffy would feel like he failed like a captain and needs to get stronger. He wouldn't approach differently luffy doesn't think that far ahead he would just try to get stronger so that next time a scenario where he is down and out wouldn't happen. He wouldn't approach impel down and marineford differently either because he was in a rush to save ace luffy has no time to approach it differently, especially when he has little time. Zoro didn't want to pain him with feeling like he failed as a captain and that is respectful it's not a cool guy act like he says that makes no fucking sense he gets no credit from hiding it and he almost died It's not selfish at all. He is not doing it for himself he is doing it for luffy because luffy would feel like he failed. As far as zoro knew he was gonna die from taking luffy's pain i don't like how rob is trying to twist it in to sounding like something seflish.

I think there's trolls and naysayers in every fandom regardless of the medium. You can apply it to Sport, Politics, and so on. If the other guys were really trying to debate Rob, they should see that his Nothing Happened opinion falls apart right at the start. He's talking about Luffy being motivated to be more serious if Zoro told him, except Luffy wasn't messing around on TB. He was simply overwhelmed. Zoro telling him, if anything, would have the opposite effect of causing Luffy to over-exert himself to the point of death to try and prevent the same thing again. Considering how well they know Rob idk why they entertain him anymore, unless it's for audience interaction which makes sense. Once he's backed into a corner he starts stringing together nonsensical words and looks for the others to answer questions he poses them that he knows the answers to but have nothing to do with anyone's point, and then acts like that answer summarizes his point perfectly lol. It's very intentional.

To be honest, even after reading the manga, I still don't think this fruit is very strong. There are a bunch of stronger fruits in the new world. Many are just not successfully developed to "awakening". Luffy worked very hard and creatively to use its fruiting abilities to get where he is today.

To be honest I dont like RTTV in general. When I see them I get the feeling that they are not into reactions, they only make content for their fame and money, they are not so into it, forgetting so much stuff in a short time like they are not interested at all. This podcast for me is like: hey we are big enough to invite other youtubers all of them are over 100k abo. Like there are a lot more reactors with less abos but still more likeable then these guys.
