I am a big supporter of Bernie Sanders and I thank him for bringing attention to where our economy stands today. I have a hard time believing that the wealthy elite in this country care anything about the American working class or the poor, and they won’t spend one penny that doesn’t benefit them! Bernie has been one of the biggest supporters of wealth inequality. Because Bernie votes with the Democrats. And Democrats have used nonstop immigration since 1967, high taxes, and over regulation to put slack into the labor market year after year. Which gives all the power to employers, driving down wages, and immigration drives up housing prices at the same time. To the point that tens of millions of Americans don't have any money left over at the end of the month. It's the low wages and lack of power at the bottom that allows the excesses at the top. Causing the wealth gap. Compare that to JFK style conservative policies of using low taxes, smaller government, deregulation, and less immigration to tighten up the labor market. Which gives power back to workers. Raises wages. Allows for advancement. Allows for mobility. Allows people with bad job records or few skills to get jobs. And gives people dignity. If Democrats actually cared about lower income people and were capable of compassion and empathy, they would be Kennedy/Reagan conservatives. What if the middle class that we talk about here rose through the unjust system that marginalized the majority (like the caste system). Now that there is diversity, inclusion, and equity those that were cushy in their middle class now have to work harder to keep up. This concept is called scarcity in economics. This is the basis of the world economic forum in Davos. Senator talks about bringing in tuition free universities, free healthcare and other reforms from the Northern European Kingdoms. The Senator forgets to mention that in the capitalist United States there is big charity already flowing through. The United States gave 2.5 Trillion Dollars in Charity in 2021 alone. Senator Senders might argue that it brings in tax breaks for the wealthy who donate. Senator Sanders will say that using the tax system, we will fund the hospitals and tuition free colleges. No need to donate it, give taxes and the government will take care of it. Senator wants the government to do the charity work on behalf of the people. This goes against the principals of the American people for many reasons. Reason number 1, people have religions. They want to do good deeds infornt of their God and they will donate. That ritual is done by them. Reason 2, like I said above, from my experience of working at nonprofits throwing money at the homeless is not the solution. The government, espically of Senator Sanders might give cash incentives to the homeless which might work the opposite and due to beaurcracy it will take time for the government to stop the bad policy. Reason number 3, The size of the government. Nonprofits employee 10% of the US working population. The government employees 18 percent. Making the US a socialist country will mean that the government will employee over 28 percent of the population. I could go on. I mean capitalism is the only way. Socialism is a solution, but not problems need solution otherwise we would be alcoholic, wouldn't we.
