Putting candles in the window is a tradition that goes back hundreds of years. This is how travellers knew where the next house or rest stop was, while travelling at night. Creedence Clearwater Revival also mention the practice in the line "Put a candle in the window" from their 1970 song "Long as I can see the light". Belinda Carlisle put a modern spin on it when she sang "Darling leave a light on for me".

Diosie Alingalan when you think about it, when we get to the end, all we have are memories. Wish we could capture moments in time and replay them over and over forever

@@photonotavailable7936 No, not yet sir, you are still too young to say that. My mother is 84 but still strong to live each day even in the midst of Covid Pandemic!~Let's think positively but not the virus!

Im miss my buddy Gary Richrath ( lead guitar) .. He always sounded great and left it all on stage .. We lost him back in 2015 .. Just happy he isn't battling those demons anymore .. Rest in peace pal ..

Listened to this when I just turned 30..Now I’m almost 70 and the music still sounds great. The ‘80$ & ‘90$ sure had the best “actual” music 😎😎

Greetings from Mexico, I love what I am seeing on your profile. And i apologize for jumping into your comment in such a way. I'm really looking forward to get to know you better. If you're comfortable with it, I'd love to talk somewhere outside the KZbin comment section. and get to know each other a bit more intimately. What do you think?😊

I love this song so much, including “In My Dreams” (which was my theme song when it became a hit and until now). REO Speedwagon’s music is so wonderful it hits straight to my heart. Nostalgic of my teenage years. 🥰

Gary was very underrated, he certainly played a les Paul how it was meant to be played, REO were never the same without him.

Very touching music. Fr. Philippines. Wow! You are so lucky that the pianist is your neighbor. Great he taught you how to play piano. How kind Sir Neal Doughty is. Love you Speedwagon.
