The event was organised by Sir Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise funds for the Ethiopian famine disaster. Broadcast across the world via one of the largest satellite link-ups of all time, the concerts were seen by around 40% of the global population.

Try and sing and play drums or piano or guitar at the same time, it's really not as easy as many think, or don't give it a thought. Try this...tap your hand as a snare drum and your foot as the bass drum and sing any song you like. . 😉

Accidentally hit the wrong key. I played the piano growing up, this is not a difficult arrangement to play at all, when we mess up we aren't supposed to give it away by making a face. Its virtually impossible to play the piano and sing and never make a mistake. But this arrangement really was on the beginner/intermediate level of piano playing, he must have been very nervous. His singing was on par though no mistakes there.

Benjamin Orr (The Cars) makes a few gaffs on the bass-as well as lyrics, in "Just What I Needed" and I actually look forward to them. As a keyboardist in a band, I like seeing that, "yeah....we all have little hiccups". It shows that we're not machines!
