Ive been listening to him for 3 years, and I knew he was gonna be the biggest start of this generation as far as country is concerned. It aint even close IMO!! Yea i called it then and ill stand by it now. Amazing wordsmith, great story teller.....his acoustic/live solo versions are as good if not better than his album versions.. album is amazing top to bottom one of my top 5.. his debut album could possibly be one of the greatest albums ive ever listened to. Im 37. Been playing/writing music since i was 12. Love practically all genres. I play guitar,bass,drums, and sing. This dude has an amazing gift. Awesome nostalgic undertones. the melodies and harmony in his voice and guitar chords along with that gritty sound is perfection.. long story short..... Dudes the real deal.
