So I don't think anyone has said this yet, but the bits where they talk in not English do not have the correct translations. They actually say completely different things than written in the caption.

I think the best way to describe the humor of the ENA series is surreal. It has some sort of story going on, but the odd characters and events that happen during it confuse you just as much as they amuse you. I dunno, that's the vibe I get from it, I could be totally wrong.

ENA is one of the most delightfully surreal series that I have ever watched on KZbin. Watching series like this really shows so much wonderful creativety, and I hope that there are many more videos from ENA to come. Its so fun watching you react to them.

Something funny about the characters that aren't speaking English is that they're telling you to turn around and leave cuz the maze is dangerous, not giving you instructions to keep going. The translations are misleading on purpose lol

By the way Merci (the mime creature) and UFO guy speaks a different thing from subtitles: Merci tells that ENA wasn't supposed be here and she rudely tell her to leave and didn't take anything from other creatures here UFO guy suprised that so young lady is here. He said that things that happening here are too good to be true. At the end he hopes that ENA would be corrupted by they sins

Someone reply to this comment to correct me or prove my statements with the translations! But I believe the characters aren't always saying what the subtitles say they are. The NPC-like characters are actually speaking a language, but the subtitles they are given just tell ena directions. I don't know for sure but I believe the true translations are telling Ena to escape. So the world may be trying to block out their cries and only to push ena forward. I myself do not know the translations and I can't find them.

the subtitles for the characters that speak different languages are false translations. they are actually warning ENA about the dangers ahead, even though there are none, so its kinda mysterious. the japanese one also says "My only hope is that you leave this place before being polluted by our sins!" whatever that means.
